California is such a strange place. You have the best of people and the worst of people.

Just when you think there’s no redeeming value to the state, they go and turn down homosexual marriage being treated on the same basis as heterosexual marriage.

On the one hand, you have people really angry about what’s going on in the state, and on the other they keep voting the same nit-wits back into power.

Go figure...

My understanding is that repeal was successful because of the support of many (not all) Hispanics who normally vote Democrat on other issues.
Here in Maryland we are hoping many blacks and Hispanics join in to vote for the repeal gay marriage referendum on the ballot. Otherwise it will be a waste of time. Too many white libs here join the minorities.
