Lance Armstrong said he wanted to see the names of his accusers. The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency gave him 26, including 11 ex-teammates.

About 200 pages filled with vivid details _ from the hotel rooms riders transformed into makeshift blood-transfusion centers to the way Armstrong's ex-wife rolled cortisone pills into foil and handed them out to all the cyclists.

Until this, I thought Armstrong was being railroaded. The only way he could come out of this with a less than crappy smell now is if it was shown that all the witnesses were coerced into lying. Good luck with that.

In this country, we do not convict people on drug charges based on hearsay evidence or witnesses who all have admitted to or have been found to be drug users.

It sounds like they were ALL doing it and they want to focus on one guy. Let me guess the others will all get off scot-free for testifying.

Are you daft? People go to jail every day based on the testimony of fellow drug users and sellers.

""If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'" is an old NASCAR expression. Junior Johnson had this to say about his creativity when it came to building cars:

"I loved the game. Maybe I'd have four of five new things on a car that might raise a question. But I'd always leave something that was outside of the regulations in a place where the inspectors could easily find it."

***************

The history of bike racing is replete with performance enhancement. If they can't enforce their rulz at the time, they need to get more enforceable rules.

Attempted enforcement >8 years after the fact (though all contemporaneous tests results appear to have been negative) means not enough effort is being put on current enforcement.

These folks appear to be attention whores seeking continued and increased (public) funding of their fiefdom.

Read the report.He tested +

In jurisprudence overwhelming circumstantial evidence can does and has convicted criminals.

Shame of so called “freepers”. Acting EXACTLY like obamabots who still say it was a video and their messiah can do no wrong despite the overwhelming evidence

I am of the opinion that if Armstrong wants to “fix” this, he will need to file a slander / defamation lawsuit against both the organization and the individuals in the report .... and win the lawsuit.

There are no positive drug tests.

And we know that most every other person who competed against Armstrong has had positive PED tests.

They’ve probably also had their wins vacated. Most wins in cycling get vacated in a few years. The difference between them and him is once they got caught they admitted it, he still insists it’s all lies.

"In October 1999, the USOC created the USADA to begin operation in October 2000. USADA's status and alleged independence from the USOC contrasts the norm in the United States in which most professional sport organizations (MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL) manage the anti-doping aspects of their sports. As a result of USADA's ongoing multi-year contracts with the USOC and the sport national governing bodies (USA Track & Field, USA Cycling, USA Swimming, US Soccer, etc.) the agency is responsible for managing the anti-doping programs including testing and results management for each sport's athletes and events throughout the year. Despite its name and status as the country's official anti doping organization, USADA is a private organization and not subject to government oversight."

The IOC is a vipers' nest of corruption. The USOC was likely only under control while Romney was in charge. Where's the auditors report on the most recent budget expenditures of these attention whores?

this isn't a criminal case is it?....isn't this purely a sports organization investigation?....

I fully believe they all "do it"....but LA bucked the system and refused to admit it, which would ruin his miracle man image...

I remember that Tour race where he fell off his bike, got a nice abrasion on his leg, IIRC, fell way behind, on a HILL, and somehow, someway, he got back on and pedaled up the hill and won the race....

amazing feat, and in retrospect, very suspect....

Well, I've never watched or paid attention to bicycle racing, but it's only now that these guys come forwards? Why wait all this time? I hear/read Armstrong is a real jerk IRL, but it just seems strange people would wait so long before accusing someone of cheating.
