Thats like a parent complaining about people using profanity in front of 2 and 3 year-old kids. What 2 or 3 year-old knows what any of those words mean? If kids that young have that kind of vocabulary then something is really wrong in those kids homes. %$@&#!

No one should use profanity in front of a young child, or any child. One through 6 year olds are in the pinnacle of language acquisition and will pick up any word and keep it. Word acquisition and definition are two separate entities. They may not know what it means but they have it.
So use some class.

When Thing One and Thing Two were young we were walking behind a gaggle of middle-schoolers diligently involved in attempting to turn the surrounding air blue.
One of them turned around, saw me, made eye contact and said "Oops, sorry".
I smiled and thanked him.
They all immediately switched to a neutral topic...
