I guess a rerun of “Cops” was on and he wanted to spot his long lost cousins in cuffs.
LOL at that picture.
There aren’t other places to sit for the libtard? TVs are usually in one area of the restaurant. But I guess getting off his fat a** was too much trouble to spare his child the news?
The picture on the video of the Fox News show was of Leon Panetta. It wasn’t bodies being blown to bits. This is absurd. At 3 years old kids have no notion of what the news is about. This clown wanted to create a scene for his own benefit. I truly feel sorry for his kids.
Wonder what his DU name is
I’m happy to see the owner NOT bowing down to the customer when the customer is wrong.
Indeed two things they hate most are facts and truth.
Wouldn't surprise me in the least with that lithp and catty bitchiness. Even if he's married, I wouldn't be shocked if he's hanging around with Slap Shot's "Jack Robinson."
Craig Lechner might as well put a billboard in front of his home: I AM A WHINY LIB B*TCH, in letters fifteen feet tall with spotlights to illuminate it at night.
Just in case anybody in America doesn’t already know.
Try it in a sports bar with 1 minute left in the game and the team with the ball is trying to score the winning goal.......................
Ive asked for them to switch from CNN.”
Was waiting in one of our local auto repair shops with a number of other people and everyone wanted the TV changed from CNN. Guy working at front desk tried but no other stations were available so just turned it off. Everyone clapped. Franchise manager came in and said he had been trying to get company owners to let him put in and pay for TV access out of his own pocket but company won’t let him. I do know that a lot of businesses and banks have contracts with CNN.
I want to move to your neighborhood!
Are you talking about What's Opera Doc?
Okay, my bad. I drew a comparison to the wrong thing.
we didn't do Disney, Sesame Street, any of that stuff... we did classical lit... all the fairy tales were the "real" fairy tales... Blue Beard, Red Riding Hood where the grandma really does get eaten... we read about the Trojan War, and such things... so they were not sheltered in that way... i just wanted to keep them in the garden until they were able to reason as perhaps an intelligent 8-9 year old would... they were exposed to things little by little--age appropriately... of course, certain kinds of violence, we sheltered them from... the sex stuff, we sheltered them from... they are now 16 and 12--both well adjusted... smart... clever, witty... and people loving... they still do not feast on "disney channel, junky television, etc." they are well-informed, logical, verbal, and even funny... i'm glad i kept them in the garden until they were in about the 4th grade... that's when they started to leave... and entered their dialetic stage...
Must have happened down the street from me...
I have 3 McDonalds within about 5 miles all tuned to FOX one of them has 2 TVs both on Fox...
:)
BTW its always been a rule that you ask the other customers who are sitting there if they mind if the channel is changed...
There were probably a few old retired guys veterans among them who were watching FOX...
You're certainly much more tolerant than I am. When I had to sit through 30 minutes of "The Spew", my blood pressure had risen to about 300 / 150.
I usually take a book just in case I end up sitting in the visiting room for a while. It helps to tune out the TV.
BTW, on the subject of voting with ones feet, I will not shop at anyplace like gas station/food marts, etc., that is run by Pakistanis, etc.
“My formative years were filled with images from Vietnam on the news.”
Me too. I can recall the first time I contemplated what death meant when night after night Walter Cronkite would start off his broadcasts with “Today in the war in Vietnam 32 US servicemen were killed.” And each night the number was different, 15, 41, 32,etc.
