Joe Biden, on his way to tonight's vice presidential debate in Kentucky, asks the press, "You ever see me rope-a-dope?"

Vice President Biden arrived at about 10:50 a.m. at New Castle Airport. He climbed out of a gray SUV, greeted some military (see below) and then walked toward the press gathered near the wing.
Asked about tonight's debate he said, "Looking forward to it."
Asked about his strategy, whether it was rope-a-dope, he responded: "You ever see me rope-a-dope?"
America is being led by Rope A Dope and Smoke Some Dope.
How can anything go wrong?
He will come out swinging. Ryan will be playing the sensible conservative guy with the facts. Biden will try to win on noise, agression and some smart remarks he’s been given. If he comes up with some smart remarks of his own, hilarity may ensue.
His media minions will proclaim victory in any case. Ryan will be tagged as lying about all his facts. Biden will be described as a fiery fighter for the people.
The talking heads will be vociferous in boosting Biden tonight. They are freaking out and hopefully will overdo the spin.
I dunno, ever rope yourself, Mr. Biden?

I really hope they do, the more they overspin, the more obvious it becomes...
When you tell your opponent your going to do it, it probably won’t work.

Yes, I wonder if the MSN is pumping/building up Ryan to win hoping of course Ryan will lose. That way they can seem stunned and make a bigger deal of a Ryan loss.
I hope he wins but I’m not counting my chickens before they hatch.
I bought into all the hype about the polls being wrong during the last election and we see how that turned out.
I’m holding a wait and see attitude until I have something to celebrate

Ryan needs to tell Biden the ME is in flames, the country’s broke, our dollar is crashing, there are no jobs - and until those things are taken care of ‘abortion’ is on the back burner.

Actually I have seen people on both sides of the debate say this. and I agreee.
If this debate devolves into a “he said, she said” I hope Ryan is able to inject some humor into it by reciting some of Biden’s “greatest hits” gaffes. Actually I hope he does it regardless how the debate unfolds.
