Perhaps he has 'evolved' on these issues. Look, if he makes such a statement in his run as president, rest assured the msm will hold his feet to fire should he vacillate.

You are inaccurate.

Romney never said he would not do anything about abortion. He has consistently stated he would get rid of Obama’s funding for foreign abortions.

Though he said he has no legislative proposals regarding abortion, he never said he would veto, or fight against, any such legislation.

He is putting his focus on the area we need to focus on now: the budget and the economy.
