After Romney's remarks, Barbara Doherty told Boston's WHDH 7News that the GOP nominee shouldn't invoke her son that way again.
"I don't trust Romney," she said. "He shouldn't make my son's death part of his political agenda. It's wrong to use these brave young men, who wanted freedom for all, to degrade Obama."
Romney has amplified his criticisms of Obama's foreign policy and defense record with a speech on Monday that fact-checkers and the Obama campaign said was rife with errors and policy reversals

Romney picked a guy he actually met and talked to at length. Hey, remember when the press showed all the coffins coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan when Bush was president? Remember Obama using the four men killed in Benghazi as a back drop?
Every family has at least one or two dumb, embarrassing liberals. So unfortunate that it’s his mother.
Wow. It’s one thing to ask Romney to refrain- it’s another thing to start the politics herself. It does have a Cindy Sheehan kind of stench..

The issue is changing our direction because if we continue going down the path Obama’s foreign policy is leading us, a lot more people are going to be terrorized and killed.

I can understand where this mother is coming from as I am having to steel myself to the possibility that my son may never come home to his wife and children. I had hoped that we would be able to deny Afghanistan to Al Qeada types for future major attacks. If there is anyone I am angry it with, it is Bush and especially Cheney (whose Halliburton made so many $millions there) for manufacturing an extremely costly war in both blood and $$ in Iraq and neglecting finishing the job they started (with good reason) in Afghanistan. Nevertheless, in spite of anger at politicians from both parties, I am truly glad the Sadam and his two sons are dead, bin Laden, and Gaddafi, and we will never have to deal with them again. One hopeful thought, perhaps Chavez will soon join them. It is an ill wind (cancer) that blows no good.

Sometimes I tend to jump the gun on my remarks so I never intend to disrespect anyone, that is never my intention but it does make me angry to hear this woman go after Romney when all Romney wants to know is what we all want to know, what happened to her son and the 3 other brave Americans who died that day..the truth deserves to come out and this all smells of a cover up. I would think she would want to know what really happened to her son

As I said in my comment, “More research needed.” Have you done any since identifying this as a Dem talking point. None of the Republicans at this hearing have rebutted that statement. No Republican at the hearing chaired by Issa (no shrinking violet) has said this was ridiculous. As I said, more research needed!!!

That is an easily provable dem lie. Period. The Repubs have not reduced any program or any spending. You can’t place blame on the republicans when Harry Ried has blocked every vote on an actual budget. If there is no budget passed, then the repubs cannot have possibly reduced spending on any thing.
Don’t let the dems use your emotional suffering to disconnect your ability to reason.

You should have just listened to the hearing. The Political hack who denied the extension of the US security team and additional personnel for Benghazee was NOT a funding decision. They had the personnel, the Obama underlings turned the request down by the “in the field” security officials.
