Obama rep: All of these Republicans politicizing the Benghazi attack are just so outrageous

Please spare us all the sanctimoniousness about getting “political,” because whether or not the president of the United States and his administration are equipped with the capabilities to deal with serious threats to our national security sure seems like kind of a big deal that voters deserve to know about.

Looks like this one hits a nerve.

They’d rather talk about Big Bird.

Why isn’t a single person involved in this coverup resigning? Its rhetorical but it shouldn’t be. Are they getting a bonus or pay raise or in anyway monetarily compensated with our taxpayer money to stay on board at least until after the election?

True. This is such an outrageous situation, a true example of the media bias.

Imagine if it was a Republican president. Do you think the media would be sweeping everything under the rug like they’re trying to do here? Of course not. They want us to give Obama a free pass for one of the most egregious national security failures in our nation’s history.

One of our ambassadors was dragged forcibly from one of our embassies, raped and murdered by a bunch of terrorist thugs. Our Secretary of State, White House spokesman, ambassador to the United Nations, and even the President himself tried to blame this on a video that didn’t have anything to do with the attack.

Either they are completely incompetent and not worthy of responsibility for our national security, or they are shameful liars who are not worthy of responsibility for our national security. Well, maybe both.

I love this country too much to let this clown show of an “Administration” run it into the ground any longer.

VOTE ‘EM OUT NOW!!!

Reminds me of a young woman I knew who waxed indignant because a cop had pulled her over for doing 85 in a 40 zone. “He’s just looking to make his quota,” she complained.

State Department said it was 5 days after the terrorist attack before they knew it was a plan attack. They said it came from demonstrations in front of compound that got out of hand by people who just happen to have grenades, mortars, machine guns, diesel fuel to burn compound. It happen on 9-11-12 that would be the 1st clue for a person with half a brain. The chair blamed it on the youtube video.

Sept 12 2012
By Nancy A. Youssef and Suliman Ali Zway McClatchy Newspapers
BENGHAZI, Libya — A Libyan security guard who said he was at the U.S. consulate here when it was attacked Tuesday night has provided new evidence that the assault on the compound that left four Americans dead, including the U.S. ambassador to Libya, was a planned attack by armed Islamists and not the outgrowth of a protest over an online video that mocks Islam and its founder, the Prophet Muhammad.

The guard, interviewed Thursday in the hospital where he is being treated for five shrapnel wounds in one leg and two bullet wounds in the other, said that the consulate area was quiet – “there wasn’t a single ant outside,” he said – until about 9:35 p.m., when as many as 125 armed men descended on the compound from all directions.

The men lobbed grenades into the compound, wounding the guard and knocking him to the ground, then stormed through the facility’s main gate, shouting “God is great” and moving to one of the many villas that make up the consulate compound. He said there had been no warning that an attack was imminent.

The guard, located by searching hospitals for people injured Tuesday night, said he was 27 years old but declined to give his name. He asked that the hospital where he is being treated not be identified for fear that militants would track him down and kill him. He said he was able to escape by telling one of the attackers that he was only a gardener at the compound.

They would rather talk about Big Bird because it would distract the masses away from this horrible mess. We must not let them get away with that!

If that guy is still in Libya, I hope he has better protection than our ambassador did.

Someone needs to explain to this hopeless marxist buffoon the difference between ‘politicizing’ and legitimate criticism of failed leadership.

It’s not as if the Democrats ever politicized foreign affairs during the GWB administration. What hypocrites....

They not only politicized foreign policy differences, they criminalized those they disagreed with. See Iran Contra.

To leftists, everything is politics but they sure don't like it when it's turned on them.
No, then THEY are mainstream, above the fray, getting things done while the OTHER guy is "playing politics".
Sickening and tiresome. Heard it too many times.

I agree that you are summarizing the most significant aspect of this. There sre many possibilities about why this happened, but the reasons for it happening are of lesser importance than the absolute disaster that has constituted the entirety of the administration reaction. If the administration were wearing the R jerseys this would be in the constant negative news cycle all the way up to the election. IMHO this is a wide-spreading viewpoint, or at least it should be.
