If voters are right, Paul Ryan will easily out-debate Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. on Thursday.
The latest The Washington Times/Zogby Poll, released Monday, found 46 percent of voters think Mr. Ryan, Wisconsin Republican and a master of budget details, will overwhelm Mr. Biden. Only 30 percent thought "Sheriff Joe" would triumph.

TC, I think someone recently posted info about Joe’s football exploits.
Joe almost got bounced from Law school because he was caught plagiarizing. So, the fail with Joe has been from a young age, and strong.
You are right about spray tan Joe. That's why he fits so well in the obama administration in spite of his gaffs. Ryan just needs to get his facts on point and hammer him with the truth. I would relish seeing spray tan go down in flames.
I hope that sheriff joe’s depends slips and he pisses down his tingly leg and it runs down to the end of the stage.
“I’m not upset, I simply offered an opinion that Biden will be a tougher opponent than Obama. You’re the one playing democrat and throwing out strawmen”
Nope, I simply did not agree totally on your inference that a more seasoned politician does a better job.
Don’t know where you come off on trying to throw me into a Democrat category.
Did anyone here not see the healthcare debate on C-Span? Paul Ryan ran circles around every politician in there. He was the only one who knew, by heart, what was in that thing. Same will happen in this debate. Biden will throw cliches and slogans and smears at him, Ryan will throw numbers back and win with truth.
Check Daily Caller today. New story claims that Bam went to Radditz’s wedding in ‘91. Outrageous that she wouldn’t be recused and replaced.
The arrogant condescension is so awful that it's really nasty. I hope Biden looks like a desperate, nasty old man .... and I pray Ryan keeps his head, stays respectful, and does what Romney did last week - dazzles with facts. It will be a stark contrast to Biden's baffling with bullsh*t.
This will be like Brock Lesnar fighting Peewee Herman in a cagefight. Will be hilarious.
Biden’s career goes back way before his 4 years as Obama’s VP. His stint with Obama has hurt his reputation. To avoid more damage to his legacy he might find himself unable to support some of Obama’s ideas in the debate, causing him to embarrass Obama to avoid further humiliating himself.
I agree that Ryan will wipe the floor with Greasy Joe, but I also know that the MSM will call it for Biden or (if there’s a paricularly large amount of blood on the floor) a draw.
Ive been watching these debates since Reagan/Carter and in all those years I have only seen the media call it for the conservative twice. Usually when the conservative abuses the lefty in the debate, the media calls it a draw.
Go back and look at a lot of the instant analysis afer Mitt’s pummeling and youll see what I mean. Obama thought he won the debate and I guess there was no reason not to think the MSM would cover for his weakness.
I hope you're right about a Ryan win, but I share your concerns. As good a speaker as Ryan is, he has no real experience in a debate format. Biden has that sleazy, phony, gladhanding, grinning way about him that so many idiots seem to fall for. Rush has been advising not to dismiss Biden, that he will be going for the jugular, but in the end Ryan has the facts on his side.
“Ryan has the truth behind him and joe has lies.”
Unfortunately, truth does not always win in the public forum.
We saw a perfect illustration of that in 2008.
“Imagine relying on Joe Biden to save your bacon?”
LOL... How pathetic does someone have to be to bring in Biden to lift him up, especially a narcissist like Hussein? That’s gotta hurt.
The TRUTH today has 4 years of history to run against.
LLS
You are right. He was hand picked way back and has been groomed into the corrupt politics for a long time. It seems like every time he opens his mouth, something humiliating comes out. Hope springs eternal that he will not disappoint and will be a further drag on the inept policies of the last 4 years. I look for Ryan to be a mighty force tonight.
Really tough, eh? Even CNN says no. http://www.businessinsider.com/ryan-beats-biden-debate-cnn-poll-2012-10
I watched it all and there was never a doubt.
The old fart came across as a better-than-thou cranky guy who has no respect for anyone.
