Something isnt just rotten in Denmark. Try Washington, D.C., where liberal are going insane reacting to the latest Pew poll results that show Romney kicking election butt by 49-45.
The Daily Beasts Andrew Sullivan freaked out about the math and the 12 point swing that sent Romney from down by 8 points to up by 4. Sullivan asked: Did Obama Just Throw The Entire Election Away? That rant earned it front-page coverage on Drudge with the headline: SULLIVAN: SOS OBAMA.
For a guy trying to boost his team, his comments were harsh. Look: I'm trying to rally some morale, but I've never seen a candidate this late in the game, so far ahead, just throw in the towel in the way Obama did last week, he explained.
Nate Silver, who writes The New York Times FiveThirtyEight blog, tried to calm lefty nerves via Twitter. According to Twitter, Barack Obama went from a huge favorite at 1 PM to a huge underdog at 4 PM. Get a grip, people, he wrote. Silver still claimed that Romneys chances went from 21.6 percent to 24.4 percent,

Obama thought he had won the debate!
Poll Ping.
Speaking of polls, this article is worth your while: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2942417/posts
In liberal fantasyland, polls never swing against their incumbent, the Muslim Brotherhood is our friend and Christopher Stevens is still alive.
Thanks.
Quick! Somebody send Barry a debate trophy! All this whining is driving me crazy.
Over the last couple of weeks Americans have started thinking for themselves. Oh, that has to be stopped.
I think it all started with Clint Eastwood at the convention...
....... but I’ve never seen a candidate this late in the game, so far ahead, just throw in the towel in the way Obama did last week, he explained.”
Yes, Andrew Sullivan, it was certainly a beautiful thing. Obama didn’t give it away, Romney took it...using with facts.
They dynamics of the race haven't changed all that much...it's just that these polling organizations have been lying about the internals.
“Look...I’ve never seen a candidate this late in the season throw in the towel”
I guess he should have watched the Rangers this year. And for those that don’t know how that ended up.....
The response rate to political opinion polls is so low any more they cannot be considered legitimate social scientific research. (To get published in any reputable journal in the social or behavioral sciences, you need a 30% response rate. The polls are getting 9% response rates, according to the Pew Research Center.) Whether they say Obama’s ahead or Romney’s ahead they are all rubbish because of the likelihood of a systematic cause for non-response.
I’m nourished by the tears of the Regressives.
Pew is racist, too.
Now one can throw a hizzy fit like Ms. Andrew Sullivan. I was her reaction to the Pew poll.
“The polls are fixed. Too many (put opposing party name here) polled in the sample” LOL
You see the humor in this?
Just a couple of weeks Rush was saying that same line and it was repeated over and over here. “Halleluiah we can believe the polls again, until.....”
“Quick! Somebody send Barry a debate trophy!”
Oh damn, I actually want that to happen now...
If the internals are not out of whack, they are more credible. In other words, setting the turnout percentages as identical to 2008 as many polling outfits had been doing is not realistic.
Pollsters tend to make an effort to actually try for accuracy the closer they get to voting day. The end result counts the most.
