I love the way that quick example by Romney really discombobulated -bama’s whole campaign. Instead of trying to recover by discussing issues that people really care about his campaign is spending money airing commercials about an innane subject, and using an agency, PBS, who is objecting to their being used by his campaign! Meanwhile, Romney is able to say, “These guys are spending time and money discussing Big Bird instead of Libya and Jobs? It shows that they are not serious about the office.”
This has worked out to be the ultimate “bait and switch”. I wonder if that was the intention all along by Romney and his campaign.

Good point. This Romney crew is showing more savvy and dexterity than we got out of McCain in 2008, which shouldn’t surprise anyone.
