AP publishes unflattering pic of Romney bending over

It was a news photo that, as Gawker quipped, was "ripe for captioning."
A pic of Mitt Romney bending over, while a seemingly astonished schoolgirl stands behind him, mouth agape. The photograph, posted Monday by The Associated Press for all to see, has since surged across the Internet. The candidate riding a wave of confidence from last week's debate performance was suddenly made, pardon, the butt of jokes.
So was it a cheap shot?
Tim Graham, media analysis director at the Media Research Center, says absolutely.

Absolutely a CHEAP SHOT. Mitt can handle it, but what about that young lady? How awful for her, she did not deserve this, now think of all the teasing she will get at school. That's true. The AP also would have had to have parental consent to photograph and publish the picture of the young lady. As a parent, I would be livid had I given consent and then found out my child had been exploited like this. But then, I was always extremely cautious about signing away consent when my children were minors.

You know what, Romney can take it, but I feel bad for the school girl. I could see her getting teased big time.

Just the start, things will get ugly, hope Romney somehow stays above this and does not screw up on his own.

Got back from Boston about an hour ago. Turned on TV and booted computers. Got a cuppa, sat down and FOX NEWS had a mostly red map on the tube, including Ohio and Florida.
Romney's butt may be turning teflon. Or maybe people are discovering the truth.
Give a hand

I hope the parents do take action of some kind. I know I would. Yet, nothing can take away the pain for this young girl in facing her classmates, what has been seen...well you know.
What would be nice to help her is for Romney to invite her to come stand beside him at some event.
I am livid with this CHEAP SHOT by the AP. They can NEVER speak of Bullying again and be credible.

I didn't miss that point, I saw it for exactly what they tried to imply.
AP are bullies to use such a beautiful young lady for their perverted purposes. I hope the parents take some action against them to using their daughter in this manner.

Southeast Expressway traffic was messy when I went in. There had been bumper thumpers on both north and southbound sides, plus everyone had to stop and gawk. I wish people would just get out of my way. ;-)
