AP publishes unflattering pic of Romney bending over

It was a news photo that, as Gawker quipped, was "ripe for captioning."

A pic of Mitt Romney bending over, while a seemingly astonished schoolgirl stands behind him, mouth agape. The photograph, posted Monday by The Associated Press for all to see, has since surged across the Internet. The candidate riding a wave of confidence from last week's debate performance was suddenly made, pardon, the butt of jokes.

So was it a cheap shot?

It looks to me as if the little girl is looking to Romney's right - not at his rear.

Exactly. She's looking at whatever he's bending down to pick up, or maybe an animal he's going to pet, or a child who fell down. Whatever, her expression of surprise is focused on something near the ground next to Romney, not on Romney.

So, yes, the photo is obviously cropped. And the cameraman knew damned well what it was that Romney was bending down to deal with, but covered it up. Along with the reporters, editors and the rest of the MSM.

Every one's missing what is truly offensive about this cropped photo: It's using a child to make its lewd deception.

By cropping the photo to edit out what the child is really looking at on Romney's right, it deceives the viewer to believe the child is looking at and reacting to Romney's rear end!

Shameful! It would not have been missed if it was done by opponents of the leftwing agenda.
