Huzzah!
(Excerpt) Read more at gallup.com ...
Pretty much validates all other polling that shows Romney pulling away.
Gallup finally switches to Likely Voters, finds a seven point difference over Registered in Romney’s favor. That tends to confirm enthusiasm gap showing up elsewhere, and could be reflecting the narrowed gap in absentee and early voting.
Hugh and Series!!!
This is actually better than I expected.

Note that this is the seven-day tracker which means two days of data were accumulated before the end of the debate last week, and that a full weekend is included; my guess is Romney picks up another point tomorrow.
Now this is sweet! Romney flirting with the 50% mark.
Must be 5 to 6 points with likelys.
Devastating poll numbers across the board for an incumbent President.
ooops omit the 7 LOL!
OK, a little sober reminder before we get carried away with out euphoria -— What’s the D/R/I sampling breakdown of this poll?
I hope they did not oversample Republicans the way they did the Dems in the past, this time.
And it’s a Gallup poll.
“If Romney hits the the 50 mark one wk before the election, expect an OCT. surprise of some sort two days before the 6th.”
Romney’s tax returns will be leaked. The kenyan has a history of leaking documents in previous elections. Now that he is on the ropes I expect something big. Tax doc leak, attack Libya, bombing Iran, etc.
No info available on that yet, but the advantage of a seven-day tracker is that the metrics should be identical, and movement indicates a trend. I think of this result as confirmation of all of the national polling, and most of the state polling shows the same movement.
Interestingly, two Ohio polls out today show a tie or a slim lead for Romney, and two Pennsylvania polls show Obama leading there by two or three points, which would tend to confirm the Ohio numbers. I would note, however, that CNN is pimping their Ohio poll, due out this afternoon; I suspect it will show a wider Obama lead than the others, in a bid to temper the Romney bounce.
Most Voters today are very aware of the games they play, they are so obvious now, and such a stunt will drive more voters to Mitt. maybe.
In the words of Joe Wilson: HE LIES (thank you Joe)
Trying to think of what kind of Oct. Suprise there could be. Only thing I can think of is some invasion somewhere, but coming right behind the Libya mess would not be wise for Obama, he's already in enough trouble there, but wisdom is not his Forte, even though he did let his hair go grey.
I cannot wait to see Biden.
You know he is just RELISHING this. He is thinking, “THIS IS MY HOUR! I CAN JUMP START THIS CAMPAIGN!”
Which is simply awesome. With his “knack” for wanting to throw deep, you can bet that Biden is going to do something AWESOME.
I cannot wait!
I’m on pins and needles waiting to hear what Nate Silver has to say about this.
Good luck with that......the biggest mistake Obozo has made is having two weeks between the first and second Presidential debates.......
Because of Obozo's poor showing he'll have to endure two weeks of Romneys' momentum before he gets a second shot at a side by side comparision........Tehehehehe!
