The Gasoline tax is one of the few that actully gets spent on what it was supposed to pay for... ROADS so the freeloaders using non tax fuel on the ROADS will be required at some point to pay too.

You don't live in California, do you? In the once-Golden state, our legislature has been raiding the gas tax money for years - as a result our highways are among the worst in the nation.
