Telling children for generations that we come from animals kind of explains why people act like animals . . .

And yet, animals would never do some of the things that humans do.

There is evidence that the earth is 4.3 billion years old. Life began many years after its creation and has evolved.
I see nothing that conflicts with His word.

Correct, mainly because humans have the faculty of reason.

Nevertheless, humans are noticably fallible; especially when humans chuck reason.
