The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 49% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns the vote from 47%. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and two percent (2%) are undecided.
These results are based upon nightly interviews and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. As a result, todays update is the first based entirely upon interviews conducted after the first presidential debate last Wednesday night.
The numbers reflect a modest debate bounce for Romney. See daily tracking history. As with all bounces, it remains to be seen whether it is a temporary blip or signals a lasting change in the race.

On that, we can agree.
But Romney's who we've got. And, given the alternative, I would expect every conservative to be sensible enough to vote for Romney -- as opposed to making some futile gesture by voting for a third party candidate or sitting it out.
Obviously, you disagree. For reasons which escape me...
When you make calls for Romney, would my Caller ID identify the call as coming from Romney, etc., OR does it show Unknown Caller or a telephone number, or what? If I know that it IS a call from Romney, I WILL answer the call. Otherwise, I will ignore any calls that don’t identify themselves If I don’t recognize a phone number calling on my Caller ID, I will let it go to voice mail. Does anyone know if a call from Rasmussen identifies itself as coming from Rasmussen?
I expected a continued bounce after the debate. Maybe some polling data is yet to be analyzed.
Based on those internals Rasmussen is using a Dem +3 turnout model.
LOL!!! Nothing like letting the fingers type before the mind engages
Sorry. I'll have to disagree with you about who's mind is disengaged and not thinking.
A vote for anyone else, is a vote for 0bama. I challenge you to think about that. I doubt you will though, as I think you are just here to try to spread discontent. I don't recall seeing you here in the 9 years I've been a member of FR.
So what does that have anything to do with the fact that people like you are voting for a liberal just because he's a Republican.
So you oppose ObamaCare but are voting for the guy who takes it as a compliment that he is referred to as the grandfather of Obamacare?? ROFLMAO!!!!
I would suggest you look at Romney's record as gov. There is no way you or any self proclaimed conservative would vote for a Democrat if he/she had that record but since Romney is a Republican, it's all good, right?
The last time I got a call from there it was to ask me to work on Saturday and my caller id showed ‘000-000-0000’. I didn’t answer. They left a message on VM.
see post #47. Somehow I posted it to softwareengineer by mistake.
Do you not understand that Romney’s healthcare plan is a STATE issue, not federal?
I still think you’re some sort of concern troll. Enjoy your ‘purity’ while enabling 0bama.
It’s quite a bit better than a socialist government don’t you agree? Or do you enjoy having all of your money taken and given to someone else? Obviously you don’t have any of your adult children living with you because they can’t find a full time job to support themselves? I do... Now you can vote for who ever you want, but we have two candidates. They can’t be changed now.

LOL!!!
I remember the days when supporting Romney got one in trouble here.
Now, for those of us who kept our conservatism intact, we are the new trolls?
ROFL!! You can’t make this stuff up!!!
I’m glad your conservatism is ‘intact’. I hope it makes you feel better when you look down through your nose at me.
Hmmm... perhaps concern troll was a misnomer. Purity troll is probably more fitting. I’m noticing a few around here lately.

LOL!!
I suggest you look at Romney’s record and past statements before you call conservatives “purity trolls.”
A conservative Romney isn’t. He’s even less conservative than McCain was.
It was you who told me first I was voting for BHO just because I was dismayed that so many conservatives are voting for one of the most liberal republicans to run in a long time.
Some are ok with that. I'm not
So, Laughing My A$$ Off, who is your viable, winnable alternative to Romney?
Of course you're dismayed conservatives, like myself, will vote for him. The alternative IS 0bama.

Sitting this one out
Then effectively you’re voting for 0bama. Thanks a lot holier than thou conservative. Enjoy your finely tuned principles while 0bama takes us over the cliff. My family and I are grateful that your purity is intact. Spit!
“Then effectively youre voting for 0bama. Thanks a lot holier than thou conservative’
Nope.Just a conservative. I don't believe big government is better just because it's implemented by a Republican instead of a Democrat

You’d prefer 0bama over the butt kicking Romney is giving him right now?

Why is it that some believe that just because you’re not drooling over Romney you prefer BHO???? Never figured that one out
