In an unprecedented attempt by a national media entity to try and sway an election, ABC News has launched "Arpaio Watch" - in an obvious attempt to defeat Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio just 30 days before the election.
Abandoning any pretense of objectivity, ABC News has even hired a longtime pro-illegal alien activist to pose as a "journalist" and run the operation, which - partnered with Univision - clearly has as its intention to sway Hispanic votes in Arizona and deny the Maricopa County Sheriff a 6th term. The website makes no attempt whatsoever to provide balance, going after Arpaio right out of the gate:

Ted Hesson, ABC News' so-called "journalist" leading "Arpaio Watch" cannot be considered in any way objective or fair on the issue or immigration. Before joining ABC News, Hesson was head of Long Island Wins, a group that advocates on behalf of illegal aliens in Long Island, NY and elsewhere. Hesson has written articles celebrating the defeat of E-Verify bills, promoting demonstations by supporters of illegal alien amnesty, targeting local politicians who advocate for immigration enforcement (sound familiar?) , directing readers to call U.S. Senators to vote for the Dream Act (some "journalist", eh?), and disgracefully suggesting that the shooter of former AZ Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was motivated by the immigration enforcement movement.
So ABC News has hired a left-wing immigration activist to run a series of articles (with video reports sure to follow) bashing Sheriff Joe Arpaio in a tight race a month before the election. Can you say illegal campaign contribution? Can you say FCC violation? We can, and will be following up on that next week (stay tuned).
Looking for an "Obama Watch", or "Eric Holder Watch"? Don't hold your breath, they aren't coming. ABC News has disgraced itself and surrendered any right to call themselves an objective news organization.
Angry? Then let ABC News know about it. you can contact them at the following avenues below. Our best suggestion is to at the least fill out an ABC website feedback form, and preferably send both Anne Sweeney and Ben Sherwood emails, and leave voicemails on their direct office numbers below. Let's try and fill those boxes and let them know (respectfully) that "Arpaio Watch" is an outrageous perversion of journalistic integrity and must be stopped.

Did you see the ad against Arpaio that Geraldo showed tonight about a rape? Even Geraldo said that it was false. The ad said that Arpaio did not care about this case and did not prosecute.
