The plans for making guns on a $300 used lathe are already on the internet.

I presume that a modern machining facility could simply load up the program into their CNC machine and make most any firearm part within minutes.

There are thousands of small CNC shops all across the USA. What will be the next leftist move, controlling the sale of steel? Probably.

Perhaps you are unaware that one of the excuses used by BATF to obtain the warrant that eventually precipitated into the murder of the Branch Davidians was that Vernon Howell (aka David Koresh) had committed the very grave (potential) crime of owning a metal lathe and milling equipment.

BATF claimed this gave them probable cause to believe that his cult was "manufacturing" "machine guns."

Nah....what they will do is control ammo. Making the gun is just mechanics. Making the ammo requires some pretty sophisticated chemistry, both for the propellant(powder) and for the primers. And some very strong safety procedures to keep from blowing oneself up. Which is why B.L.O.A.T. (buy lots of ammo today) is the most important thing to do.
