To be blunt, Mitt Romney cleaned President Obamas clock in the presidential debate Wednesday night. It was such a lopsided victory that 67 percent of debate watchers questioned in a CNN poll gave it to the Republican challenger. But it gets worse for the incumbent Democrat. No presidential candidate has topped 60% in that question since it was first asked in 1984, said CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. Yet as bad as the president was, the freak-out by leftists and their media enablers was the stuff of legend. More subtly, the media establishment is busy softening Obamas failure via absurd excuses and anemic acknowledgement of Romneys victory, studiously avoiding utterance of terms like defeat or loss......

......Top Obama campaign strategist, David Axelrod [i]n a conference call with reporters...urged them to start making the points the president himself failed to make. All of you who travel on the road with Governor Romney know that he just a few weeks ago stood up and said we didnt need any more teachers. Last night he couldnt be more enthusiastic about teachers and more teachers.
And so today, as the day after, I think the question for you [the media], for the American people is really one of character, and whether or not a candidacy thats so fundamentally rooted in hiding the truth and the facts from the American people and deception, is the basis of trust on which you assign the presidency to a person, he said. He continued:
>>>"So that is what we are going to focus on moving forward. Were going to hold Governor Romney accountable for the things that he said last night and were going to make him justify those claims as I hope you will make him justify those claims."<<<
These are breath-taking statements from a man whose own candidate has made an unrelenting effort to keep substantial portions of his past completely off-limits from public scrutiny even as the ever-doting media were more than willing to play along. Furthermore, if Axelrod wishes the media to hold a candidate accountable to the truth, perhaps they should begin by holding Barack Obama accountable for the ever-evolving story surrounding the murders of four Americans in Benghazi or the administrations numerous investments in failing green companies owned by top Democrat campaign donors or the top-secret security leaks surrounding the Bin Laden execution, or the invocation of executive privilege in the Fast and Furious gun-running scandal just for starters.
Nonetheless, mainstream media were happy to answer Axelrods entreaties. Obamas Pravda, The New York Times predictably rose to the occasion. ....

....what scares the leftist media the most, what has driven them into paroxysms of rage and excuse-making, is not the feeble performance of the president in a single debate. It is the nerve-rattling possibility that Obama did not have a bad night. It is the possibility that the real Obama, when stripped of his media filter and teleprompter, is always as small, unprepared, self-conscious, and as lacking in substance as he seemed Wednesday night. And if the president himself is a fraud, despite every media effort to anoint him as a brilliant demigod, then they are equally culpably for maintaining that facade not only during Obamas time in the Oval Office, but for most of his political career.
In short, being in-the-tank lapdogs for their Messiah has suddenly acquired a terrifying aspect for the leftist media one that could get a lot more terrifying in the days leading up to the next debates, and onward to the election. Most people know that an animal is most dangerous when it is wounded. The president and his sycophants were wounded Wednesday night. What they all do going forward to put this president across the finish line in November could be unprecedented in its nastiness as a result.
It was the altitude in Denver.
Obama is not used to debating.
The real Romney didn’t show up.
Romney threw so many lies out there that there is no way Obama could respond to it all.
The president needs to watch MSNBC so he will have talking points for these debates.
What other excuses are there? Since Obama is not accountable or responsible for anything, he needs excuses for this debate, so that he gets a mulligan on this one. (Sarcasm)
a candidacy thats so fundamentally rooted in hiding the truth and the facts from the American people and deception
The hypocrisy is beyond breathtaking...
Two things are for certain.
1. Obama’s pitiful performance has driven the insane into further insanity, and it is damn funny to watch :D
2. OBAMA SUCKS BAD!
Makes for a good zero ‘T’ shirt. I have one tee with fishing excuses for coming home empty handed.
Just ask our own PJ-Comix.. Priceless.. HA!

This is the money quote from the whole article.
I’ve said for a long time that either Obama is an amateur who will go down hard, or he is the beast of Revelation and it will take God’s overt involvement to bring him down.
I believe it is the former and STILL do not believe he will finish his term due to personal meltdown.
I confess that with his expressions and body language, it was as if, in his head, he was saying “because of what we have in store, these debates do not matter at all”. That is concerning.
Obama is the Diet Coke of Antichrist.
He’s evil, but not of the caliber it would take to be the AC.

Yeah... More than a little bit.
I have felt this way since the morning after the 2008 election. Like a premonition or something. I even had a very realistic dream of watching an Obama press conference on Fox News in which he surprised everyone there by announcing his resignation.
I will have fresh popcorn for the Ryan/Dufus debate!
I’m waiting for one of the liberal commentators to recommend that the President adopt a fake southern accent.
Hes evil, but not of the caliber it would take to be the AC.
Evil, like a weed, must grow to adulthood to expose it’s true self.
Evil, like a weed, must grow to adulthood to expose its true self.
This question of Obama being old Mister Triple Six himself comes up, now and again. I tend to answer it the same way each time. He whose coming is foretold in the Book of Revelations has two outstanding qualities which propel him to the forefront. He is both evil to the core, and has an intelligence of genius level, particularly as applied to both the political, and military spheres.
In looking at Obama, one can see that he has the evil covered quite handily, but the genius level intelligence as applied to the political and military spheres? Not so much.
In fact, he is so incredibly lacking in that area that he is disqualified for the title.
He isn't the "star" of that particular play, but the "star's" understudy who was tasked to ensure that the machinery which would be utilized by the real deal worked. It did, quite effectively so Obama's role is done...

“Governor Romney know that he just a few weeks ago stood up and said we didnt need any more teachers. Last night he couldnt be more enthusiastic about teachers and more teachers. “
Notice how Axelrod is lying here?
Obama wants more govt handouts for ‘education’. He wants to beat up on Romney as ‘not for education’. so he demands another wasteful federal handout.
Since its a wasteful giveaway that doesnt really help education, romney opposes.
Axelrod uses that to say “See! He really doesnt like teachers!”
Romney put that away quite well, saying how he loves teachers, thinks they are great, was proud of how massachusetts was #1 in schools, and how STATES SHOULD TAKE THE LEAD on education. Brilliant.
They are crippling their own candidates. Obama has spent his whole life in the bubble.
