Ooooh, the words tap danced have been used . Isn’t that as racist as using the words “lazy” or “Chicago”? :)

A month back I’m sure Obama was dreading the “economy” debates and relishing the “foreign policy” debates. Now, with his foreign policy literally going up in flames, he must not be sleeping too well at night. He truly is boxed in and all Romney has to do is play his cards right.

Don’t gloat. The left will do what they always do when a normal person threatens their stranglehold on freedom: invent a false story and plaster it all over the news.

This is the Obama we have always known. But this time he had no clothes and Big Media couldn't cover for him. A rabid Obama supporter coworker said ‘he really looked angry’. And I said ‘I think this is who he really is’. My coworker said ‘I liked Romney’. And i said ‘I am glad to hear that’. I shy away from politics in the workplace as most of my coworkers are Libs. This conversation was really heartening.

“The left will do what they always do when a normal person threatens their stranglehold on freedom: invent a false story and plaster it all over the news.”
Or wag the dog in Libya.
I’m betting on some “huge disaster” to save his bacon.

Dont gloat. The left will do what they always do when a normal person threatens their stranglehold on freedom: invent a false story and plaster it all over the news. It really won't matter. As long as Obama is breathing in the next two debates, the press will treat his performance as the second coming of Cicero.
To: Kaslin
What the debate showed was that Romney was in command of the facts and not afraid to use them. Obama blabbers. The next debate will be the end for Obama if Romney sticks with using the facts-especially on foreign policy where he hugs and bows to communist thugs and diss close allies like Israel.

The President has problems with short-term memory. In the debate, while he was answering Romney, he forgot most of what Romney had just said. His memory is so bad he even forgets the topic midsentence. That is why he rattles on. It is not a professorial contemplation of intricate questions, it is simply forgetting.
This memory problem is the reason he latched on to each hint Lehrer threw to him, simply repeating Lehrer's words, then getting off track while elaborating on them.
It doesn't matter if he comes out swinging the next time, he will still have trouble responding to a question and completing a sentence.

I have an alternate hypothesis. It fits together with something Sarah Palin who is not prone to hyperbole alluded to, says a major story is about to break. I think Obama is throwing the election on purpose. I can see him taking a dive in the 2 and 3rd debates, not obvious but will leave the MSM saying he won anyway. We know they will say he won, be prepared for it, the phony bump in the polls, the Newsweek cover. Obama will not run with that but slog along and lose respectfully on the first Tuesday after the first Monday on November. This is his plea bargain, to lose in a not so obvious way. I am sure there are many staffers who have resumes cobbled and resignation letters ready but Team Obama has told them they will not resign, if they try they will be destroyed. Ex staffers talk...
Still calling blowout maybe 350+ electoral votes for Romney, throw in a few surprises like Michigan, NM, Pa, Wisconsin and maybe a surprise NE state like Maine.

Obama is by far the stupidest man to ever serve as president. I still am dumbfounded how he managed to fool so many people for so long.
Obama is the poster child for affirmative action.

Obama will not run with that but slog along and lose respectfully on the first Tuesday after the first Monday on November. Not as long as there's a single Libyan city left un-bombed or a single Executive Order left un-issued (student loan forgiveness, anyone?).

Hate to say this but you're delusional.Yes,it's distinctly possible that Romney will win but if he does it will be by a whisker...Electoral Vote-wise,at least.

I actually agreed with Juan Williams on the Five last night. The big story was how the left reacted. They were not prepared for O to fail. They actually reacted negatively towards him. Next time they will be prepared for O to fail and will be better prepared to cover for him. Their reaction will be more controlled.

I expect the ‘Town Hall’ debate to be a disaster. “I’m part of the 47%...Why do you hate me”, “I got laid off and you killed my wife”. “ I need my house back. What are you doing to help me?” These town hall questions (orchestrated by the MSM and DNC) just can’t be answered off the cuff. BUT, When the debate goes to foreign policy, that is target rich for Romney. What good has Obammi, or for that matter, Biden and Hillary been? Slo Joe wanted to split Iraq into three separate territories, giving us three more places to shovel money into and extract terrorists from, Hillary has embarrassed us daily, and Obama has killed our relations with our historical allies, shown weakness to our enemies and supported terrorists.
