I was blown away when I saw Obama trying to defend himself with Clinton’s economy. That should be used in Romney ads.

Clinton claiming credit for “his” economy is like a surfer claiming credit for “his” wave.

Clinton’s economy wasn’t even Clinton’s.

Yeah, same here. That was one of many wildly flailing attempts by Obama to grab a lifeline. It reeked of desperation.

Obama: Give me four more years. Why? Because Bill Clinton had a great economy in the 1990s.

Any Republican with a lame argument like that would be ridiculed mercilessly by the MSM. And rightly so.

In an earlier interview on NBC's "Today Show," Axelrod added that the president was "looking very much forward" to his next chance to debate Romney on Oct. 16. "I know this, he will come, he will make an honest argument with the American people about how to rebuild the economy and the middle class and he'll hold Gov. Romney to account for these big gaps in the truth we saw last night," Axelrod said. Brilliant tactic - reveal your Domestic Policy stategy when the debate shifts to foreign policy. Mr. Whipple, pack your bags...

In the next debate I expect Hussein to pull out all the stops - interrupting, talking way part his time, false accusations, attacking, you name it! And if he gets trounced again, somebody is going to get an October Surprise so the dims can claim that he was “distracted” by bigger things.
