Al Gore blames Obama's debate performance on Denver altitude
quote: Al Gore: "Obama arrived in Denver at 2pm today. Just a few hours before the debate started. Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5000 feet and you only have a few hours to adjust, I don't know."

Obomba was doing his debate “prep” in Henderson, Nevada, which has an elevation of just under 2000 ft. So, the altitude change was not 5000 ft. it was about 3300 ft.
Gore should have blamed it on global warming since that would explain why Obama sucks everywhere else—especially in D.C.!
The Democrats have now demonstrated a real knack for choosing their leaders over the past 40 years! From George McGovern to present, we have had many other than optimal Democrats.
An item of note is that the dark sides frequently come to the fore AFTER they stop running for office and AFTER the MSM ceases the favorable coverage! Gore belongs to this group as does John Edwards, that golden boy-lawyer of the tort bar.
As you say, thank God for his favor!
This is the cretin you almost elected POTUS, America!
And John Edwards a heartbeat away.
You should Give the former divinity school dropout/ current expert in global warming ..global cooling .Climate change , inventor of the internet a break. Al Gore has a valid point. Per the Peter principal Obama has been elevated to a position miles above his abilities thanks to affirmative action and white guit.
“I doubt this is the reason but if you are coming from near sea level to 5,000 feet you do need at least 24 hours to acclimate.”
Maybe if you’re running in a marathon.
Aircraft pressurization is set to a pressure alitude of 8000ft, so yes it does.
He must have left his breathalyzer at home.
OK I stand corrected
When I’ve gone skiing in CO, it usually takes me a day to get acclimatized. Granted, that is at an even higher altitude than 5,000 feet.
