MSNBC: 'The President Had No Teleprompter Last Night' Daniel Halper October 4, 2012 7:38 AM
MSNBC hosts wondered whether President Obama lost last night's debate to Mitt Romney because he was unable to use a Teleprompter:
"There's another element here that perhaps should be under discussion: The president had no Teleprompter last night," said MSNBC host Mike Barnicle. "He speaks almost all the time off of a Teleprompter. Forced now to stand on his feet after years in the bubble, getting pushed back a little, he didn't do too well. He didn't do too well."
"Alright, even Bill Maher had to point that this was a rough one for the president, he tweeted this: 'i can't believe i'm saying this, but Obama looks like he DOES need a teleprompter,'" another host, Mika Brzezinski, added.
Which means that Obama fails when he tries to be anything other than a ventriloquist dummy for the people who actually write his words for him.
Yep, and then Lincoln said “I paid for that teleprompter and if I want to unplug it I will”. :)

Romney has a record as Gov. of Ma. working with an ~83% Democrat congress and getting things done. Taking the best ideas of both sides and incorporating them into a conglomerate law.
Obama has a record of ramming through whatever he wanted without ever consulting or considering the Republicans input.
Who is it that is the unifier and non-partisan leader FOR the electorate?
Oh I think he prepared, in the obumble way, as in “I’ll stroll out there with my hipster walk, flash a big capped tooth smile - a couple of ladies might faint - I’ll throw out some ‘lets hire more teachers, Romney is a rich white guy’ and everyone will love me because I’m in the room”. I believe he really expected to not have to answer for the past 3 1/2 yrs.
So, in the next debate will we hear Candy Crowley ask “Mr. President, is that writing on your arms?”

You're right. Clinton said no president could have 'fixed the problem' so in lib's minds, that's that. obammy did ALL that was humanly posible!
But I really believe this is as good as he gets. obama never gets challenged. he never has to answer tough questions. He never has to claim any responsibility for anyone. He's used to basking in the adulation of crowds of morons who hang on his every word. I expect the Town Hall 'debate' to be filled to the rafters with those morons...but Romney will still be there.

If last night’s debate was a prizefight, it would have been stopped at 9:25 p.m.
I had a feeling Obama might have a problem when I heard he was using John Kerry as his Mitt Romney stand-in. If that was the best Liveshot could do getting Barack ready for Mitt, he should be fired this morning even before Bobby Valentine gets his walking papers.
Did you notice how Obama kept looking away from Romney? It took a while to figure out who he was looking for, but then I realized — it was TOTUS, his missing TelePrompTer of the United States.
No one should ever use the words “cerebral” and “Barack” in the same sentence ever again. He bragged about cutting taxes $3,600 for middle-class families — “maybe they can buy a new car.”
And they said George H.W. Bush was out of touch!
It wasn’t just that Romney was smart. It was that Barack was revealed as a clueless dolt...

It's obvious. Obama is an incompent fool. The lack of TOTUS proves this.
Yes, it's real. But it's even worse than that. The picture was taken in January 2010 when Obama addressed a class of sixth-graders in Falls Church, VA. What you aren't seeing is the cropped-out pics of the sixth-grade students.
The President of the United States required two teleprompters to talk to a class of sixth-graders. That's bad enough. What's even worse, however, is that in the past two years NOT ONE reporter, pundit, talk-show host or so-called Republican leader has had the balls to bring this incident up and ask him why he needed teleprompters to talk to some sixth graders.

No joke. That was in a sixth-grade classroom at a Falls Church, VA elementary school back in 2010. I’ll bet TOTUS was quite eloquent that day!
I noticed the Clinton references, too. Sounded to me like Obama’s argument was, Give me four more years because the economy in the 1990s was just swell under Bill Clinton. LOL.
I don’t see how he could be any different at the next debates.... Foreign policy? Again he has nothing to defend and Romney will have plenty of ammo... No matter what Obumble only can bring a knife to a gun fight.... He has nothing but stupid slogans and false promises to use as defense for the last 3 1/2 yrs...and Romney clearly won’t let that stand. I do believe the campaign will now get nastier but as far as debates go I don’t think obumble can overcome Romney.
