That story is one of those typical stupid obama campaign trail stories that either are a complete lie or probably terrible exagerated. They left one part of the story out. Obama said that she said, “that some of the kids were sitting on the floor.” I badly wanted Romney to say, “Is that right, who is this lady, which school, I would like to meet her myself.”
I find it hard to beleive there are schools in this country where there are children sitting on the floor, except maybe during story time. Luckily Romney decided not to call obama out on this stupid story, and I am quite certain the media doesn’t believe it either. However, obama has done this and gotten away with it a hundred times.
I don't even buy that she has 42 students. Most classes, unless specialty classes, are around 20 to 25 due to the goonion contracts.
When I went to public school BEFORE the teachers were unionized, a standard class was 40 students and it was a red letter day if we got a textbook that only listed 3 previous owners.
And this school where the kids supposedly sat on the floor is in whose state?

They walk uphill in the snow, both ways to get there...with no shoes cuz they’ve got no feet.
It was probably kindergarten where they sit on the floor sometimes as a matter of course. I wouldn’t be surprised for The Won to do something like that.

My supposition was that the kids sat on the floor at first, then got some extra chairs in there in about the first ten minutes and it was done.
Oh, and the ten year old books? She’s probably a math teacher, so who gives a damn?
