But that's the problem. If the two men were more evenly matched, Obunga might hope to come back in the next debate, but they're not evenly matched. I have no TV so I listened on the radio tonight. I did not think that Obama won but I thought that he did pretty good and I could see how his supporters could claim victory.. I was surprised to see the disappointment posted on the web by so many Obama supporters..
then I saw a couple of video clips and I could understand the grieving from the Obama side about how poorly he did.
At least Obama did not seek his daughter’s advice like Carter did Amy.
What strikes me about the two men is that both came into the presidency with a “my way or the highway” approach. Carter didn’t even get along with his own party’s congressional leadership, and obama offers no coattails to his. Romney scored big points saying he’ll work with the Dems, because you have to if you want to get anything done.
Zero did the best he could...but he can’t run on his record, he’s unable to respond to a direct challenge and he can’t think on his feet.
He was both unprepared and uninspired. America deserves better and it showed tonight.
