BENGHAZI, Libya More than three weeks after attacks in this city killed the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other Americans, sensitive documents remained only loosely secured in the remains of the U.S. mission here on Wednesday, offering visitors easy access to delicate details about American operations in Libya.
Documents detailing weapons collection efforts, emergency evacuation protocols, the full internal itinerary of Ambassador J. Christopher Stevenss trip and the personnel records of Libyans who were contracted to secure the mission were among the items scattered across the floors of the looted compound when a Washington Post reporter and a translator visited Wednesday.

0bama should’ve sent a team in to secure the compound. But we saw how he handled a drone lost to Iran. This was nothing to him. A gain for the terrorists that will compromise other U.S. activities. Oh boy!
FUBAR
I really hope Romney hammers him on Libya. He won’t, of course.
The meetings include briefings with American officials, a private dinner with influential local leaders, and meetings with militia heads, businesspeople, civil society activists and educators. The highlight of the visit was the opening of the American Space, a center intended to serve as a hub for U.S. culture and education.
Yeah, WaPo, we’ve known about this for a while. Good job exposing it the day of the first debate.
What's next, the New York Times reporting on the empty chair pesidency?
Better late than never, I guess.
The discovery of the documents coincides with increasing pressure on the Obama administration to provide a full accounting of security at the mission prior to the attack, as well as an explanation for the slow pace of the investigation that has followed the Sept. 11 assault.
The incompetence of this administartion is now going to get friendly Libyans killed and make it extremely hard for US embassies around the world to secure the trust of the local population.
“when a Washington Post reporter and a translator visited Wednesday.” Gotta hand it to the FBI-a reporter can get in, but they can’t.
The problem is, 0bama’s motives are so sinister than if Romney were to call him out on his motives people would call Romney ‘crazy’. That’s how effed up America is right now. If Romney said ‘Obama is trying to shut down the private sector’ people would say ‘How could Romney say such a thing?. A president would never do that.. Romney’s NUTS!’. Arghhhh!!!!!
The FBI has some very tough customers, who routinely fly to total hell-holes to conduct the overseas parts of investigations. Many are former military SpecOps officers.
The fact that they have not visited Benghazi, while CNN and WaPo reporters have, means that Hillary Clinton’s State Dept wants to keep them AWAY from Behghazi. Period. Otherwise, they would have been there weeks ago.
