Ok, we've been following these numbers for three weeks. In a nutshell, ACROSS THE BOARD, in every county (red or blue) we have seen a sharp increase in absentee ballot requests from Rs and a significant decrease from Ds. Cuyahoga (Cleveland), the big Dem Kahuha county, is down 6%, which would translate in a general election to a decrease of 60,000-70,000 votes. Franklin (Columbus) went for Obama by 21 points. The Dems are TRAILING there by 6,000 absentee requests. (That's a 'swing' of about 25 points).
The cutoff for absentee requests is soon (have to find out when) but the Rs are pretty close to already winning this part of the battle, convincingly.
