Are these debates set up so that there are time limits to the answers? Otherwise, El Blowzo will blather on for an hour answering three questions.

A "Good" teacher conveys information, a "Superior" teacher conveys it so that everyone can understand it with out speaking down to any. A "Great" teacher converys so you can understand it and apply it in different situations.

One of the hallmarks of an intelligent professional is their ability to give concise, informative answers.
It’s usually the amateurs - being uncertain of their answers - who drone on. This is usually because they’re trying to answer the question for themselves.
