Never thought voters would be taken in with him - obviously, i gave voters/Americans MUCH MORE credit than they deserved and had no idea just how many Americans were so dumb and so easy to deceive.

It IS NOT my term, but of those “sleeping at the wheel” while all of this was taking place.
I am NOT directly placing blame on 1 individual. I am placing blame on US...for allowing such a thing to happen!
With Ronald at the wheel, we were “lulled”....and expected things to remain that way.
