Poll 1 O 49 R 47 - no party break down - asks: Who would you rather see as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars, (Obama) or (Romney)? Can this one be taken seriously?

Battleground poll: O 49 R 47 no party breakdown, with Romney ahead on economy and jobs?

Either this has turned into an American Idol election, bad for Romney, or the polls are being fudged. Since no one is giving their breakdowns any longer, I would suspect the latter. The question then is, “Will this be a self-fulfilling prediction?”

Somewhere in the intro or first chapter of "Statistics for Dummies" the author says to ignore any poll that doesn't publish the internals.

That’s the unfortunate problem we face. Even though I’m quite confident the poll numbers are being purposefully skewed, the American populace tends to be a bunch of lemmings.

I met someone this weekend who is voting for Obama because “he’s going to win”. Hates him, but he’s going to win and she doesn’t want to vote for a loser. I asked her to just stay at home. Jeez.
