I hate to be forcing Juan Williams on you, but at the same time, he does have some very valid points about Republican apathy on this issue...

Please, someone disabuse me of the notion that Rino Dr. Frist is positioned to make a financial killing at one of the ObamaCare bureaucratic choke points.
I never trusted that goofy looking guy.

There was a reason we fought so hard not to pass it, then to win the ne t election, then to get it struck down. Because this is exactly what always happens: the longer they’re in there the tougher they are to strike down. If ot ever actually goes into effect it’ll never leave. Lest we go bankrupt, which is evermore likely.

However unpopular a bill may be it is infinitely difficult to keep up a froth against it for years of buildup, a summer of town hall madness, a special election that turned out to be useless, a tooth and nail legislative fight, a midterm election, and a landmark (as they say) court case. Tucker’s me out to think of it.

I this November is a loss, the GOP is dead. It was all there for the taking. Imwould be time for a new approach that doesn’t involve a milquetoast leadership in the party organization.

Apathy? Call it surrender. Instead of repeal, the new GOP-E speak is Obamcare reform, as in....we’ll accept it with some modifications. The government apparatus, regardless of party, never gives up on a source of power through control willingly.

Well, of course, since the GOP nominated it’s creator. If Romney wins, he’ll probably double down on it, expanding it greatly.

Let me try that again:

Death Panels, rationing, and the taxes will enrage We The People. The rage is brewing and it will be raging real when the IRS digs into their accounts. Count on it! When Americans realize they’re going to bend over and kiss their rears goodbye at the order of Big Bro’s Death Panels, the feces will hit the political fan.

Barry’s DeathCare = Holocaust II, IMO.

Ohhhh, just wait until the Obamacare pain sets in and their focus gets slapped back.

Other than symbolic votes, what have they done???? If they do win the WH/Sen/House and they blow it, the GOP is dead.

The outrage is gone because Obama is gone... and everyone knows it.

When we all get out to vote in a little over a month the world will look alot better... optimism will return and Obama and his ilk can take the fortune they made off the taxpayer and retire to their big stinkin houses in Hawaii.

Just wait until they start getting the bill - or the queue for basic services - or the notice that their cherished plan is ending - or that the physician they searched so hard to find has decided enough of this crap and has announced his retirement - or the inevitable death-panels.

What happened to the political argument?

In a word, Romneycare.

I know that's a common sentiment- and it's understandable, but we can certainly muster the strength back until November. This is the last chance, really.

Romney's not going to talk about it, or at least in a credible fashion. If we want to have any fighting chance, we're going to have to do it ourselves (yet again).

I fear...you underestimate the sheepelness of the sheeple. The only things that outrages the american people is seems is a bad call by a replacement ref at a football game or someone they like being dropped from dancing with the stars...

We can survive a stupid leader we cannot survive a stupid electorate....

How many people really beleive obamacare will be overturned in congress or de-funded in the house or EOed out by Romney if he should win?
Romney and other Republicans have stated many times there are parts they like and will keep.
Many Republicans in congress say they can tweak it to make it better.
Many have said there is nothing they can do after the supreme court decision.
A few have said repeal and then replace.
I don’t hear anyone saying repeal period.
There are all sorts of reasons people are now claiming that obamacare is here to stay.
The people of the country still do not want it, that apparently means nothing.

Who needs Juan Williams to say the obvious. When voters chose RomneyCare, father of ObamaCare, over Newt - I knew voters just didn’t give a flip anymore. Voters do not walk the talk - a bunch of wusses! Patriots they are NOT! America now will be like any other socialistic country - where it is not WeThePeople. The majority of voters are gutless.
