I’ve got to admit … I’m a wee bit concerned about the upcoming presidential debates. My fear is that Mitt, for whatever reason, will take the McCain fetal position before Obama and not come out swinging for the fence.
Mitt ought to do this Wednesday what Babe Ruth did in ‘32 and point to Chicago like the Bambino pointed to centerfield bleachers and then verbally hammer Obama out of the park and back to Illinois.
In addition to Mitt being the aggressor versus a genteel back-pedaler, I’d like to see some former Navy SEALs in the crowd stand up and say, “Uh, Mr. President, did you refer to the deaths of an ambassador and two Navy SEALs as a ‘bump in the road?’” Then without missing a beat they’d launch into the following song sung to the tune of Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall.”
We don't need no humiliation
We don’t need no thought control
No dark deception in the press room
Obama leave them SEALs alone
Hey! Obama! Leave them SEALs alone!
All in all we’re just another bump in the road.
All in all we're just another bump in the road.
(Then, of course, that would be followed by a robust chorus sung by children from the “We’re Sick of Obama’s Crapola Choir” from Bite Me, Mississippi.)
Look, regardless of Romney’s debate performance I’m going to vote for him. If I have to I will stand in sweltering South Florida heat wearing a ski parka downwind of a grievously flatulent Rosie O’Donnell stuffing her mouth with bean burritos if that’s what it takes to make certain my vote gets cast against the crappiest president ever.
That said, I pray to God that Mitt truly gets aggressive and doesn’t even crack a smile as he systematically dismembers this Jimmy Carter on steroids. Call out his lies. Start with Benghazi.
Oh, and one more thing, Mr. Romney: During the debates please also fish-slap the incestuous Obama-backing media every chance you get for true Americans.
Peace out.

Morph into a wuss re: taking it to Obama?
What has he been all along?
As per Fox reporting yesterday, the candidates already have the debate questions. What’s up with this? I’ve always been under the impression that candidates came into the debate ‘cold’.
The debates are just a thlk show. The issue is their records,Obama has nothing to run on yet debate anything.
He needs to visualize Obama as Newt
Obama has something to run on: it’s Bush’s fault!
I have a feeling he is going to wuss out, it’s just not in him. He’s a Mormon for crying out loud. Good going Repub-E’s, you let Herman Cain get hammered and nobody spoke up for him and instead you promoted Donny Osmond. Now we can only sit back and weep as a freakin’ foreign exchange student with an expired visa is unconstitutionally elected POTUS again.

Got to love Doug Giles! Someone should start a Doug Giles ping list.
We just have to wait and see and pray. Now don’t we?
Period.
When do I get drunk so that I can survive the mental torture of Romney spanking Obama while Obama kicks the crap out of him? Before the debate or after the debate?
What do you bet Obama and Mitt got questions, but the questions to Romney will morph into something other then the prepared questions on Live TV.
I have always voted for our nominee and will always do so.
I’m afraid Mittens doesn’t have it in him; Ryan might if he were allowed freedom of campaigning. I will vote for Mittens and Ryan, but I am not hopeful even if they are elected.
Media story #2 (written Sept 29 2012): "Dateline Oct 3: At last night's debate, Mitt Romney proved himself to be unworthy of the office of president by showing no fire in his belly. Does even want to be elected? His willingness to agree with President Obama on most major issues shocked the moderators and dismayed the audience."
If Mitt does a McCain melt down, the RNC is DEAD! DEAD and all their little band of RINO’s better find another occupation.
“the candidates already have THE debate questions.”
I’m thinking it’s more like, “the candidates already have SOME questions”. They provided the real questions to Hussein, and a completely different list to Romney. There is no way in hell the MSM will permit Mitt to look good, even passable, in the debate. It’ll be a massacre I won’t watch. Mitt always looks like a stiff doofus and Hussein always looks like an arrogant a-hole. Painful.
If Mitt’s going to go down, I sure hope he goes down fighting.
