In 1893, the 20 year old Sergei Rachmannov wrote six songs as his Opus 8. I’ve managed to find a few videos with English translations of the poems.

Hubby just measured and we have gotten 4.3 inches here at the
house, but so far it seems to be soaking in really good. It’s not QUITE ark-building time, but maybe tomorrow. Y’all keep
sending the hurricane leftovers to us. :)
