The Tea Party is regularly ridiculed and declared "dead" by the mainstream press and their elitist allies in Washington and Hollywood. Not surprisingly, when Tea Partiers show up and rally by the thousands, they get all but ignored, while 30 Occupy Wall Street crazies in masks will always get wall-to-wall coverage and admiration. TV shows and movies take cheap shots at Tea Party conservatives, often linking them to murder-of-the-week cases on insipid crime procedurals or dismissing them as birthers. But a new Associated Press poll shows tea party supporters may have the last laugh in November.

I like this from the comments section:
“If obama works really hard on this voting bloc I suspect he will change maybe 2 of those 41 million votes.”
BTW, folks, one thing to keep in mind. While we still have the SEIU to deal with, there is no ACORN this time around, and that’s big.
Silence and stealth. Set for the perfect ambush.
Love that, and so agree!
Don't be fooled so easily. The only thing that's changed about ACORN is the name.
Boo. I’m still here.
Oh yeah, Acorn is still out there. For the last two days we have seen non stop video of one of their top execs telling us how to get a free cell phone from Obama.
They are going full steam ahead in MA. Liarwatha’s daughter is one of the unindicted co-conspirators.
Yes, there is an ACORN. They simply changed names and hid their efforts a bit better.
I’m one of ‘em! Won’t you be one, too??
We do have Repub governors in the right places (OH, FL, VA) which I am sure will help prevent some corruption. Imagine if those 3 states were run by Dems.
Excellent! The Tea Party rides again. They are chomping at the bit waiting to vote. Maybe that’s why we are seeing Republicans requesting early ballots in Ohio in higher numbers than 2008. It’s a measure of voter intensity and the Democrats don’t seem to have much.
Aim small, miss small.
If we are to believe thhe sharp decline in Democrat registration across the swing states, ACORN is evidently not nearly so effective under its new name(s).
“The AP/GFK poll shows that 31% of likely voters consider themselves Tea Party supporters.”
I like the odds.
I am Tea Party and I vote!
A since I'm in a firmly red state my family's votes for someone besides Obama/Romney are not going to determine the outcome but hopefully they'll send a message.
I think the Dems were seriously hurt by ACORN’s demise. Seriously. The SEIU is good at what they do, but they don’t live in the inner cities like ACORN did.
“there is no ACORN this time around”
Well that and the tingle is gone. :)
