The Obama administration notified Congress on Friday that it intends to give Egypts new government an emergency cash infusion of $450 million, but the move immediately encountered resistance from lawmakers wary of foreign aid in general and of Egypts new course under the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The aid is part of $1 billion in assistance that the Obama administration has pledged to Egypt to bolster its economy and its transition to democracy following the overthrow last year of Hosni Mubarak, the countrys autocratic president.

This is Obama’s reward to them for not actually killing any Americans during the embassy attacks.
Originally he was going to give them twice as much.

No idea, but those people can be told to move out- before the nuke hits.
Actually, I believe the nations ought to be making payments into the US treasury to reimburse us for aid and UN dues. Egypt in particular should return all aid in consequence of violating the treaty under which it was granted.
