I hope Freepers don’t fall to this trap. Politics is a game of expectations. They try to hype Romney’s debate ability that if he does good but not excellent,they will say “Romney’s performance is off” and “Obama is unexpectedly great today”.

AFAIK, I believe that I am the originator. I was using it in 1992 at the water cooler discussions.
He’s a no-show for the debates.....Why would he come? His constituency will just say the debates are “rascist oppression” ....which the heterophobic MSM will parrot on the evening news.
