When we age our hair gets course, and when it is left to grow long it just looks like straw or a horse's tail. Shorter hair makes a lady look younger.

But, the short hair on a woman brings the face features UP.

Long hair tends to drag the face down, and exaggerate them.

This is illusion, but it is very effective. Kind of an instant facelift.

but hey, if you like long hair on a lady, it's ok.
