This video, which is being featured on Drudge, was shot at a protest outside of a Romney campaign rally in Ohio. It appears to have been organized by the SEIU:
Interviewer: You've got an Obama phone?
Obama supporter: Yes! Everybody in Cleveland or minority got a phone. Keep Obama in president, you know? He gave us a phone. He's going to do more.
Interviewer: How'd he give you a phone?
Obama supporter: You sign up if you're on food stamps, you're on Social Security, you've got no income, you're [on] disability.
Interviewer: What's wrong with Romney, again?
Obama supporter: Romney? He sucks. Bad.
Why bother promoting a clip of a lone, particularly distasteful Obama backer? A few reasons:
(1) What's good for the goose, etc. The Left regularly holds the Right responsible for the behavior or words of any individual associated with conservatives who steps out of line. Remember the racist jerk who got tossed out of the RNC? That became a major news story because his actions "reflected" on the convention as a whole. Even when conservatives don't behave badly, liberals accuse us of deplorable acts anyway. The apocryphal "spitting" and "N-word" incident comes to mind. And sometimes Democrats try to leave non-conservatives' brutal crimes at their political opponents' doorstep. Here we have a pro-Obama voter deployed at an astroturf protest put on by a major union with deep, long-standing ties to the president. She was clearly aware of the camera, so her words are fair game.
(2) The Obama campaign and its allies are seizing on Mitt Romney's clumsy and over-broad '47 percent' remarks to paint him as an uncaring, mean-spirited plutocrat. Though he was wrong to use the 47 percent of Americans who pay nothing in income tax as a short-hand rhetorical device to decry a growing culture of government dependency, Romney was absolutely correct that this phenomenon exists. A core constituency of the Democrat Party's base are people who live off the government (ie, taxpayers) and seek to expand the scope of the largesse to which they feel entitled. Note how this individual explains that access to "free" cell phones is simplified and streamlined for people who are already receiving other forms of federal benefits. She seems to believe that cell phones are only the beginning because President Obama will "do more" in a second term. In the fundraiser video, Romney remarks that he has little chance of winning the support of voters who are hooked on federal aid. This voter confirms that sentiment by offering a cogent argument against his candidacy: "He sucks. Bad."
(3) Because this lady happens to be an African American, cynical, race-obsessed liberals will undoubtedly impute "racism" to anyone who highlights this video. The goal is to bully people into ignoring it, for fear of being tagged with one of the ugliest labels in modern society. I'm absolutely sick of that game. The majority of people on federal assistance -- from welfare to food stamps -- are white. This is not about race; the ills of selfishness and entitlement transcend race and ethnicity. It's about the direction of the country and the insidiousness of dependency. We're $16 trillion in debt. Is it really an essential government service to be providing "free" cell phones to people? Our government spent $1.6 billion on this program last year alone -- and it's expanding so recklessly that even a sitting US Senator received a letter informing her that she was eligible for a free government cell phone. Hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries have been shown to be engaged in fraud, applying for and receiving numerous taxpayer-funded phones from multiple carriers. As Europe burns -- literally -- because its citizens are livid that their unsustainable hammock of government benefits is being shredded by fiscal reality, the United States must not continue down that path. But that is President Obama's path. The consequences of his ideology are playing out in the streets of Athens and Madrid as you read this. Are voters, and taxpayers in particular, paying attention?
UPDATE - Proof dispositive that pro-Obama ignorance crosses all demographic boundaries. This Barack backer, who admits to being a know-nothing on international events, does share his opinion that murdered US Ambassador Chris Stevens "had it coming." Revolting:
Obamavoter --Assassinated Libya Ambassador "had it coming"
Added bonus: Mitt Romney's going raise taxes on the middle class! But what if he cuts taxes on the middle class, which his plan actually calls for? Well, that wouldn't help either because...shut up, he's a liar. This is what we're up against. These are Ohio voters.
He/She is the FACE of the 47%!!! GIMME....GIMME.....GIMME!!
. . or they need that phone in case the Obama campaign needs to reach them to “organize” and “get out the vote”, or better yet, social media’s impromptu “flash mobs” to spring up.
Me too and I want my payback on November 6, 2012.
After obama gets bounced, I want to see Issa and the boys track "Fast and Furious" all the way to the top and then show them what a real justice system will do.
Economic turn around is important, but it is but one of many things that must be reversed.
The list is long and we all know it by rote, but jail is the only place for holder and obama that will satisfy me.
I like it. Things have gone way past the ‘tar and feathers’ level.

oops..sorry, havn’t done this in awhile..
Not as cheap as you think.
The phone is merely the tip of the iceberg.
They get a check from welfare
they get food stamps
they go to the Emergency room for their medical advice they don’t pay of course
they get Section 8 housing
they get free fuel in the winter.
The list goes on.
Not nearly as cheap as a free cell phone, they actually live off the Government.
Exactly right, and I'm sick and tired of paying that beyotch's phone bill!
The only way I know to get that bullsh*t to stop is by throwing Obama's sorry ass out of office.
But then, I'm sure the "anyone but Romney" characters on here are going to be perfectly happy paying for her, and 12,000,000 other people's just like her phone bills won't they?
Silly, it's an ObamaPhone! It doesn't work between 9am and 5pm. No way it can be used to call in sick to work!
True, but completely beside the point.
The point is that this woman is representative of many more just like her who suck on the taxpayer teat and who firmly believe that their benefits come from Obama himself, not the bloated bureaucracy. And that entitlement mentality has been purposefully crafted and exploited by Democrats in general and Obama in particular.
But think about this... Obama admin can send out any type of propaganda or start any kind of rumor directly to that population. Go out and protest romney get 200 more min.....
The author/editor really whitewashed (oops!) this person's ignorance by Englishizing her statement.
Actual:
"You sign up if you on food stamps, you on Sosecurity, you got low income, you disability."
The interviewee at top is a perfect example of a low-IQ individual who is easily distracted by shiny objects. One wonders what she actually has to talk about on the phone.
At first blush, Obama voters seem cheap, but the real price of their votes is this country. That’s what the left is willing to pay for power.
They’re just voting their own self-interest. They know that if they had to compete using just their own assets they would probably starve. Trading their votes for a much-better-than-subsistance level of existence is a good deal for them.
“And the Obama camp counters with the fact that this is a Bush-era program that has continued under Obama’s watch.”
The difference being that Bush probably thought that having cell phones would help these people to arrange jobs. The Obama people know they won’t.
