I did, and millions of others like me who pay extra on our phone bills.
That is correct
Just remember this ugly bitch when you’re cutting that check out to pay income tax in April. Just remember the hateful crap she spews about the people who pay for her “Obama phone”.
It’s really sickening what’s happening because of “hope and change”.
This welfare queen is a gift to the Romney campaign; once these clips hit YouTube there is nothing the “legacy media” can do to stop them from going viral. If Obama loses (and I believe he will), it will be due to the widespread distribution of this and other clips (”You didn’t build that”, “Cops acted stupidly”, etc.).
I’ve said for years that Obama makes his opponent’s best commercials himself; his supporters make some real doozies as well. Romney shouldn’t even mention them, and just let his attack dogs do the heavy lifting so that he’s the polite smiley guy (as Obama did in 2008).
So as I return from walking the dog and prepare to head off to work, it is comforting to know that all those with Obama phones are peacefully slumbering in their beds without a care in the world. Their big decision today will be what snack food items to purchase with their EBT cards and what to watch on their big-screen TVs.
FDR gave rural America electricity, through the Rural Electrification Administration, which also provided funding for telephone exchanges, where none had existed before.
In that zinc-plated, vacuum-tube, dirt-road era, much of America was just coming out of the 19th Century, when teams of horses were still the primary motive power on most of the farms, which were little above subsistence level.
Yet in the end, there was still a large number of farmers who remained adamantly opposed to FDR and the “New Deal”, and they remained a potent force, simply because their numbers were so great it was impractical to compel all of them to comply. When the Second World War broke out, this legion of yeoman country folk provided the breadbasket necessary to feed and clothe land and sea military forces operating thousands of miles away, despite the strictures that were placed on how much income they were “supposed” to make. The prices of their products were set by the “Office of Price Administration”, a study in the micromanagement practiced by the New Deal administrators, and yet, the supply lines always managed to be full, even while it was next to impossible to buy replacement equipment for that which failed or was essential for continued operation.
“Make it do, wear it out, use it up, do without” became the unofficial motto of these balky old dirt farmers, and it was impressed on the whole next generation.
I know. I was there.
This article explains why tax resistance is appropriate.
If the “American Safety Net” is not connected to tried and true American values, then it is a socialistic enterprise. We have required little of the able-bodied recipients of government aid and have, in effect, given birth to a new breed of American, one who is both disconnected from self-reliance and is unwilling to connect the largesse to invisible chains and bondage.
A true safety net would place limitations on the total package of aid, would come with a proscription for weaning oneself away from the very need for the aid, and would place a deadline at which time the aid would cease.
It is, after all, a net, not a lifestyle.
Now, now. They need that phone in case they have to call in sick to work....
Is this “welfare queen” the same one that was interviewed in Detroit? The one who was lined up for “free money” from Obama’s “stash”.
Our tax dollars at work. A tax revolt will soon be coming. Many of us are tired of footing the bill for these slugs.
Work is for suckas.. I got me free obama stuff
It is amazing how cheaply some will sell their souls.
Interesting program. The program gives you a free phone with an assortment of various providers to select from as an option. The program allows you 250 free minutes per month and an opportunity to gain additional free minutes as a bonus if you recruit additional users to take advantage of the program. I am sure the recent press will rapidly increase the cost well beyond one and a half billion.
1.6 Billion..... Good grief that’s a lotta phones phone bills WE paid for.

PSALM 37
12 The wicked plot against the righteous
and gnash their teeth at them;
13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming.
14 The wicked draw the sword
and bend the bow to bring down the poor and needy,
to slay those whose ways are upright.
15 But their swords will pierce their own hearts,
and their bows will be broken.
16 Better the little that the righteous have
than the wealth of many wicked;
17 for the power of the wicked will be broken,
but the LORD upholds the righteous.
May it be soon, O Lord ... may it be soon.
The really scary thing is, people that pathetically uninformed, narrow minded, and selfish have just as much say in determining who our next “leader” is as you or I do. Have fun trying to sleep with that thought rattling around in your brain. Though I wouldn’t want it any other way - unlike liberals I don’t want to silence my opposition. I do wish they would take the time to get better informed.
People like this woman really have no skin in the game at all. She probably never paid a penny of income tax in her entire life. She was probably born to a welfare mom who paid nothing for her birth. She most likely has children of her own which she paid nothing for their births either. She has probably been living on welfare checks and food stamps her entire life.
She’s a poster child for why welfare without work and govt dependency is destructive to the people who become dependent on them.
I think we can and should do better and I think it’s high time we start.
