She doubled down in her Hamas-linked-CAIR support, put on a hijab and stated: the growing minority population makes the white community uncomfortable, and whites would have to overcome their ‘racism.’

The media blackout continues despite the fact that terror suspect’s arrest was in the news only hours before Duckworth’s speech at the would be bomber’s mosque. Interestingly, Obama nominated the would be jihadist’s defense attorney for a position on the US District Court.

On always learns something from remarks here. I had often seen the mention of the name Tammy Duckworth. After this post, I immediately went to Wikipedia. After reading of the attack by rocket on her helicopter by Iraqi terrorists, I cried out loud.

I can truthfully say it was not blasphemy. She also has her right arm damaged. She has an incredible amount of military decorations. What can it be with some women? I read of an Englishwoman who was badly racked up by IRA bombs in England. She has befriended one of the bombers, who has served time.

It sounds as though the women are relating to their attackers, much like kidnappers often relate to their kidnappers. In these cases, the women are blaming the people that they think sent them into the danger, rather than admit that they volunteered for the service, knowingly putting themselves at risk.
Yes, I agree that the kidnapped do relate to those who kidnapped them. I should have remembered the Patty Hearst story. By previous standards of a much older generation, a woman kidnapped, would have turned on the perpetrators like a tiger, given a chance.

I should add that I was quite impressed by her until shortly after she was the subject of a television semi-documentary. I happened to bring her name up in a subsequent conversation and was greeted with a long pause followed by an appraisal that was somewhat at odds with what I had heard previously. Thus, when she became a political figure (courtesy the Democrat party), I was not quite as surprised at her transformation as I might have been.
