For weeks, Republicans in Ohio have been watching with worry that the state's vital 18 electoral votes were trending away from Mitt Romney. The anxiety has been similar in Florida, where Republicans are concerned that President Obama is gaining the upper hand in the fight for the state's 29 electoral votes.
Those fears are affirmed in the findings of the latest Quinnipiac University/New York Times/CBS News polls of likely voters in both states, which show that Mr. Obama has widened his lead over Mr. Romney and is outperforming him on nearly every major campaign issue, even though about half said they were disappointed in Mr. Obama's presidency.

I agree....
Even though my little slice of suburbia is pretty conservative I saw a LOT more support for the Empty Chair last time. Now all the passion is for Romney or probably more properly against Zero.
FL is going GOP this time.
More propaganda from the Obama butt-kiss CBS and NY Times.
CBS/NY Slimes in cahoots to depress the pubbie vote....well maybe just maybe it will backfire and depress the RAT vote. After all Bam is supported by the freeloaders who sit around on the couch all day, if they feel Bam has it in the bag maybe they’ll stay home. Romney, who is a lousy candidate should be able to take Bam to the cleaners in the debates, if he doesn’t....Zimbabwe here we come!
With something like 67% thinking the country is going in the wrong direction, and approximately the same % against Obamacare, I am not convinced that these poll numbers can even be possible. Throw in the state of the economy and the wishy-washy foreign policy, Romney should be able to sail into the White House.
Too many younger Americans know more about American Idol than the American Constitution. It’s a cultural problem....and the weasels who maintain power with the help of useful idiots.
Now this poll is comical. November cant come soon enough.
These skewed polls may be designed to help Obama keep raising funds. Nothing more. Nothing less.
This party ID breakdown for Florida is beyond laughable...
“However, our salesmanager shot back at him that he hasnt seen a raise in 5 years, and if Obama comes in he can kiss ever seeing a raise”
I have told all of my employees “ I can’t tell you how to vote and would never do that but I want all of you to understand that if Obama is reelected I may close all of my offices” Silence.
What you said!
Furthermore, I don't know what can be done, but when all this is over there needs to be a way to punish the blatant Goebbels propaganda media machine in this country. It is just beyond the pale this year.
These skewed polls may be designed to help Obama keep raising funds. Nothing more. Nothing less.

You got it. It’s really all about depressing Romney contributions and doing the opposite for Obama. It is not going to affect the turnout of either side.
If Romney wins, immediately after the swearing in, the GOP should take out ads explaining why he won when most polls show him losing. Explain the oversampling that skews the poll toward Obama and plant the seed of bias when explaining such error is not common practice amongst experience polling methods unless it was deliberate. Reason for ads is to discredit the MSM. If they are willing to lie during an election imagine what they will do during Romney’s term.
Note how the narrative has quietly shifted from “Obama pulling away in the national vote” to “Obama is winning the battlegrounds, and electoral votes are all that matter.”
Obama will not lose the PV and win the EV.
I voted in MN, but no one cares about what happens in MN because I live in the land of the lost. I don’t get a real chance to vote in my primaries and I don’t have my conservative vote count in a general election, because the EV all go to the Democrat. No one ever calls me to ask my opinion, and there are few media ads compared to other years.
It’s fund to pretend that it matters once in a while though.
? Say again? I don’t think I understand what you mean.
I’m saying the MSM has shifted away from trumpeting Obama’s lead nationally to trumpeting his lead in battlegrounds and emphasizing that it is the electoral vote that counts, not popular.
Obama will not lose the nationwide popular vote and still win the electoral vote.
I see. Thanks. :)
It sure puts things in prespective doesn’t it? I am still amazed that their are those that in most situations are normal and stable, but they think this guy is doing, “the best he can”. It baffles the crap out of me!
