Why hasn’t the Mormon church kicked out Harry Reid?

Reid is a temple Mormon, he is among the most devoted and holy of Mormons, and tithes at least 10% of his income to the leaders.

I am Catholic from birth and attend 12 years of Catholic school and I learned that the rule for excommunication was quite simple, if a Catholic publicly lives in sin and does not ask for forgiveness and promise to not "do it again" he is subject to excommunication.

Harry Reid is a jack-Mormon himself, his soul filled with a darkness that suggests potential irreconcilable differences between himself and the LDS authorities.
No matter how scrupulously Harry may keep the rituals of his religion, it is not in his heart, and his withering contempt for Mitt Romney would appear to strengthen the belief that one cannot be a serious practicing Mormon and a liberal Democrat simultaneously.
Harry, you wanted to see how Mitt Romney was receiving and apportioning his annual income, and we found that a large part of disposal of that income was for charitable purposes. How much are YOU giving to either the LDS church or other charitable contributions?
Come on, Harry, put up or shut up. Bearing false witness is a sin punishable under the rules set down in the Decalogue.

The important fact of Reid and Romney both being ‘temple Mormons’, the most holy of the Mormons, the most devout, and devoted 15% or so, who are rechecked for devotion every 2 years, and where fresh ID has to be renewed every single year, is that it shows the public that Mormonism is not what they think it is.
The information proves that Mitt’s and Harry’s devotion to Mormonism, and the secrets at their level of Mormonism, is not to be confused with Christian devotion.

How do we KNOW that “Dingy Harry” is actually doing this?
If he would spread imfamy and calumny against a fellow Mormon, could we be sure he is not also presenting a false set of books to the LDS authorities as well?
And how much of that money he allegedly contributes to the LDS church comes from dirty sources?
Trying to picture Harry Reid as a saint deserving of accolades from the elders is a very artful retouching of the portrait of Dorian Gray.
But Harry Reid has already sold his soul, to retain his position in the face of the practice of his own form of hedonism.

The Mormon cult is about money and power, they verify Reid’s (and Mitt’s) status every 2 years and if he falls short, then he becomes a regular Mormon, and I think Mormon leaders know how to handle collecting money from Mormons, Mitt used to be in that role when he was a Bishop, and then was promoted to lead all the Bishops in his region.
Mitt was in charge of Temple qualifications as a Bishop, then Stake President, and also of excommunicating Mormons who were not true to the “organization”.
Reid and Mitt are both exceptional Mormons. Mormonism is not what the average church going American, thinks it is.
