HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) A Harvard-educated biologist was sentenced to life in prison without parole Monday after being convicted of going on a shooting rampage during a faculty meeting at an Alabama university, killing three colleagues and wounding three others in 2010.
The jury deliberated for about 20 minutes before convicting Amy Bishop. The former professor at the University of Alabama in Hunstville showed no reaction as the verdict was read. She did not speak in court, but her attorney said she has often expressed great remorse to the victims and their families.

“A Harvard-educated biologist...”
If she were a street educated crackhead, she would have a date with the chair. Either that or they really don’t want to execute women in Alabama. Sorry, she is NOT worthy of any sort of chivalry.....

Actually it’s probably a resume enhancer.

"She would say, 'It didn't happened. I wasn't there. It wasn't me,'" Gray said. Evil twin defense, or maybe Bart Simpson: (I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you don't have a witness, you can't prove a thing.)
Or its the: what dead people? those folks are just passed out!
Well just spiffy! We'll just take off the cuffs and let her go then!!

Didn’t the locals re-open the investigation into her brother’s “accidental” death? Perhaps there’s still a chance to put her down.

Oh, this is that woman wno was described as a disturbingly intense Obama supporter.
Wonder how that little factoid fell through the cracks, lol? Whoops, forgot all about that, oh well, irrelevant, move on.

Maybe she should have gotten Bernadine Dorne and Bill Ayers legal representation.

Didnt the locals re-open the investigation into her brothers accidental death?
Ah, yes. A far, far better candidate for "Ted Kennedy's Seat" in the US Senate by three.

Alabama has a death penalty. How did she avoid it? She killed three people and her brother in Massachusetts

What is a "meeting rampage" and why is that phrase chosen instead of "mass killing", "Shooting rampage", or any other more appropriate phrase?
I mean, I know this is Yahoo news we are talking about, but I half expected this to be a Dilbert cartoon given the title...
