This is a minor technicality for a democrat as long as Holder is AG.

Doctor, lawyer, Indian chief...only one left that Warren hasn’t pretended to be.

Can’t keep up with the continuing education requirements. What a dolt, but she’s a democrat, everything’s cool.

First she claims to be a Squaw, not she claims to be a medicine man. What next?

The title of this article should be amended to “Elizabeth Warren Admits She Is Not Licensed to Practice Law in Massachusetts: Gains in MA Poll”

Not to worry, before long some law school will confer an honorary law degree on her so she’ll be able to “check that box” honestly, just as her family conferred “horary Indian heritage” on her due to her high cheekbones.

Gee whiz...what will be next? That she's really a man named Edmund? That she was born in Kenya? That her grandfather was the Chief Rabbi of Gdansk? That she made money during college by pole dancing?

Actually, none of the above would surprise me (except the pole dancing).

Next we are finally going to hear why Barry and Michelle gave up their licenses, “the Continuing Education” requirement excuse. Those CE’s, the lawyers go to some fancy smancy seminar in a really nice vacation local (I know, I worked for a lawyer), and attend a seminar. Voila! CE requirements met, tax deduction, and a great vacation.

If she was paid money due to representing herself as a lawyer, isn't that illegal??? This headline should more correctly read Elizabeth Warren Guilty of Fraud.

Someone should dig deeper, because something’s not right here. The New Jersey CLE requirements are not that bad: they require only 24 hours of CLE every two years of which 4 have to be in Ethics (snicker). In the case of an attorney working and living out of state, these can be done through the Internet, see BCLE Reg. 201:8(b). This means that she would only have had to spend a few evenings a year watching CLE seminars over the Web. That can't be the reason she surrendered her license; there has to more to it.

” She also “said that she gave up her New Jersey license because she could not keep up with the Continuing Education requirements,””

A Harvard Law professor can’t keep up with simple ed requirements ?

LOL!!!!

This is a pretty big deal. If she didn't maintain an active law license anywhere and she purported to act as counsel for anyone on anything, she is in serious trouble, as in the Massachusetts Bar will have to commence an investigation against her, and any client who had a less-than-perfect result in an action where she was associated could initiate complaints against her. If she had an active license in some state (but not NJ or MA) than it's much more fact-specific inquiry around what work she did and who supervised, and probably won't even get an investigation.
