You know I have some kindergarten memories and we had things like “Bird Month” and “Flower Month”. I guess I am to old fashion (33 years old).
They taught us beginning reading, writing, and math skills in kindergarten. Now, they want to teach five year old children about men sticking their bleeps up each other’s bleep. Sickening.
I have better memories like not starting school till first grade age six and some parents opted for waiting till age seven for their kids to start school. That was back when parents had a lot to say as to what went on in schools. I'm 55 and schools in my area did not have kindergarten. Now they have kids at school at four years old and some are pushing to start kids at three. We live in a society that frowns on removing kittens and puppies from their mothers too early but wants kids removed from parents & sent into state ran institutes as soon as possible.
