Reince Priebus expressed optimism this morning that Republicans could win the senate in 2012, but warned that the party would not get behind Todd Akin, even if he refused to exit the race.
Were not going to play in Missouri with Todd Akin, I can tell you that, Priebus said on ABCs This Week, adding that it remained to be seen whether he stays in or not. The last day Akin can legally leave the race is Tuesday.

They are submitting to the MSM setting the agenda, just as if it were Islamic terrorists setting the agenda.
We need every resource at our disposal to fight back.

I’m not your benefactor so I couldn’t care less about the management of your trust or feelings.
As for Steele, you can’t be serious.
Everyone recognizes that 2010 was very much the result of the Tea Party.
Steele didn’t manage that, we did.
It is not an accomplishment for him “We built that!”.
Since you are so great at searching keep at it and find what other crap I wrote about him.
I did have great expectations for him but, he decided his position was one of avarice and self aggrandizement.
That couldn’t possibly be disputed.
He made his race an issue like all the other retarded Aholes out their and showed just how lacking his character is for it.
I had little high hope for Reince, as I had never heard of him. Not that I was paying attention and I still don’t think he, Boehner, Cantor, et all are the right leaders.
They are men who wear silk lined gloves and get their hand manicured while sipping a great Kentucky Whiskey.
Not there’s anything wrong that except if you don’t have anything else besides that and golfing and going to great parties where everyone tells each other how great they are and compliments each other as if they are trust fund representatives and nothing matters.
So FK Mike and Reince and whoever the last guys as well. Gillespie and Gillmore are punks too.
What does we know?
We’s just ignernt hillbillies.
That's the spirit! Where did this Priebus come from anyway? I've NEVER been slightly impressed when he has been on shows representing Republicans. New leadership is imperative!!!!!!!!! This wimp must go!
Just curious, how is it you are in the know on what ALL educated people think...... on ANY subject?
Its poor form to make ‘absolute” claim when it is no more than your thinking.
Aikin did apolgize. Where were you to miss it, out polling ALL the educated people?
How I detest puffed-up, self-important, pretentious idiots.
“So...you’re going to vote for obama again, too, right?”
Just like the majority of Missouri Republicans that voted against Akin will.
“What Akin said was once what was taught and promoted. “
Its still promoted by some yokels. DO YOU THINK WHAT HE SAID WAS WRONG, or just ill advised?
your right .
yokels with a 5th grade edjukation thinks theyse smart too
I just gave my sentiments to the GOP on their website indicating that they won’t see a dime from me if they don’t turn this around NOW and put a muzzle on Priebus.
Whether they read it/share it, writing my message gave me a sense of purpose! :)
BTW the TEAParty would have been left sucking wind as usual but the Socons showed up to vote in 2010.
Both the TEAParty and the Socons have been disinvited from this campaign ~ by Priebus!
You traded a Socon named Steele for a GOP e doufous named Priebus.
I sent Akin $25 a few weeks ago. I just returned my RNC Survey and Pledge. I completed the survey and gave the $0
I let them know that I sent their money to Akin and Boehner and Rinse, need to go.
They are not morons, they’re liberals and nothing more.
25 years as a physician....you have to wonder about this guy’s demeanor if, say, an elderly, rural patient without a college degree comes into his office. I wonder if his contempt is openly visible.
And exhibit B why the republicans are losing ground and why a third party is needed. If the congress is split 3 ways, tell the republicans to come over to this side. Plus, you’d see just which ones are democrats when they switch parties.
Not in defense of Romney but when the health and life of the mother is at risk any and all options are open.
Only someone not interested in being elected would answer otherwise.
Anyone standing in the way of saving a loved one would be putting their own life at risk.
?
DO YOU THINK WHAT HE SAID WAS WRONG, or just ill advised?
Both. My theory is that what he said was wrong, but I've not studied the data to verify whether or not it supports my theory and why or why not.
It certainly was ill advised for the ammunition it gave his opponents, including the GOPe.
None the less, I go with Adler and "trust only movement."
Akin's record of what he has done, how he has voted and what he has voted for speaks far louder than the soundbite you are hung up on.
> If Akin were to step down who would take his place?
Either of the primary runnerups would have been a better choice if akin would have done the right thing and stepped down.
His desire for power and selfishness prevented him from doing what is right. Without the democrats voting for him in the primary he would have lost.
Yeah, if im taking care of a rape victim and some intolerant hater says she wasnt raped because she got pregnant i would show contempt.
What did Akin and his grasping wife not understand about being “cut off financially? He should of done the honorable thing and stepped down when it became clear that he would be a drag on conservatism.
