Is there a huge outrage in the msm?

These things serve an intended purpose: distraction.

It doesn't matter whether it is true. The idea is to create a distraction: the video moves the discussion away from domestic policy to foreign policy. The idea/intent is to change the discussion.

Romney's problem is that he lets these distractions, like shiny objects, take him off message and into response mode -- reacting to the distraction. For the Left/MSM/Team Obama -- mission accomplished.
