Pundits have declared a recent Politico piece about dissent within the Romney campaign tantamount to an “obituary.” And most recently,the news and late-night shows have endlessly played a newly uncovered video clip of Romney declaring that nearly half of Americans “believe they are victims” and that “the government has a responsibility to take care of them.”
Worse for Obama, the political activists who make up his field operation pay more attention to this stuff than the electorate overall......

The word ‘honest’ is not a good word to use when defending Romney, at all.
If he wasn't telling his rich donors one thing and the rest of us another he wouldn't be in this latest mess.
Talking about ruling out 47% of voters is what you do AFTER you lose, not before. Before you lose you (Romney) are supposed to be trying to get Americans to vote for you. That, plus complaining about the media being unfair, is what those sure they are losing do. When winning those excuses are irrelevant.

The comments were correct ones, the reason the Republicans on the news shows couldn’t explain them is because they are as elitist as the Democrats.
