Gingrich to Romney: Do to Obama what you did to me
Posted by CNN's Gregory Wallace
(CNN) - Newt Gingrich on Friday urged Mitt Romney to go after President Barack Obama in next month's debates with a gusto the former House speaker knows well.
"When he walks in to debate Obama, he's got to be as tough with Obama as he was with me in Florida," Gingrich said in an interview on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight."

RINO’s try to absolutely destroy conservatives, but they play nice with liberals.
Now, that could mean a lot of different things.
Never trust a rino.
Is this that etch-a-sketch action we were told to watch for? I really thought Romney wanted to be president and would fight Obama instead of being a pussy like he has been.
Keep in mind he had the media on his side against Newt and he had a substantial money advantage against Newt. It is kind of hard to do the same thing to Obama when the media simply refuses to run any negative stories against the one and the money advantage isn’t there.
“Gorgeous Gingrich”
I remember him well-—he destroyed Haystacks Calhoun.
The advice is valid. However, Romney will not follow through. I don’t believe he has the “conviction” of views to vigorously go on the offensive with Mr. Obama.
Also, as per usually, a “moderate” like Romney is too concerned about reaching the “middle” and won’t “full court press Romney” because he thinks it will be perceived wrong by the mushy middle.

Isn’t that Dusty Rhodes or something. LOL. The resemblance is funny.
Newt-”When he walks in to debate Obama, he’s got to be as tough with Obama as he was with me in Florida.”
Newt is just talking about the debates, not the carpetbombing romney and co unleashed on radio and tv against him.
Crusher Verdu.
Time will tell. Hopefully he didn’t put himself and his family through all this for naught and the STRONG & TOUGH Romney will show up at the debate. Most of America isn’t paying attention right now. More each week are . . . so all in the timing with the debates and then a huge blitz of ads.
If Newt only talked about the debate, there’s no ground to complain about Mitt was rude to Newt until October 3, then?
Romney plays the long game, he is patient and calculating and holds his fire until it will have the most effect. I’m looking forward to the debates, and I expect late October is going to be a rough for Obama.

how exotic

But, but, but, if he was forceful, he might look mean and he wants to be liked by the middle/independents so they will vote for him. He could destroy Republicans, because they were gone after the primary and couldn’t hurt him. He thinks, I believe, that he must appear presidential in these debates, so as many as possible will like him and vote for him. We’ll also find out if he can articulate his “plans” so some of the details stick with people which I believe it has not yet.
That is what I have my hopes pinned. Calculating and deadly accurate with his performance against O. With the moderators he definitely has his work cut out for him. And he knows it.
But he also witnessed reactions in SC and a fiery Newt. And then he returned the fire.
